What's Revealed by the Reaction to the Nashville Shooter Manifesto
It's more interesting than the content itself

In yesterday’s post, I briefly touched on the fact the Nashville shooter’s manifesto was leaked, and today I want to dive a little deeper into the issue. As usual, to get to the present we have to start with the past, so let’s take a little trip down memory (hole) lane and remember some context surrounding the story.
One of Joe Biden’s most consistent assertions is that white supremacy is the most dangerous terrorist threat in America. (And obviously the fault of MAGA republicans.) This was the prevailing narrative before the election in 2020, and was infamously “supported” by the Gretchen Whitmer “kidnapping plot” that was so full of FBI assets it looked like this skit:
This dangerous white supremacy narrative was repeatedly reinforced after January 6th by the highest-ranking officials in the country (both in March and May 2021), and via endless replays of the chaos on legacy media channels. (Typically accompanied with the terms “deadly” and “insurrection”.)
So in 2022 when Payton Gendron walked into a Buffalo supermarket and murdered 10 people — a crime for which he’ll spend the rest of his life behind bars — the media predictably highlighted the racist nature of the attack.
CNN even highlighted this quote from Gendron:
“I did a terrible thing that day. I shot and killed people because they were Black. Looking back now, I can’t believe I actually did it. I believed what I read online and acted out of hate. I know I can’t take it back, but I wish I could, and I don’t want anyone to be inspired by me and what I did.” — Payton Gendron
See, not only is Gendron racist, but he was “inspired” online and acted out of hate! He’s not the only threat, MAGA republicans are being “radicalized” online by “lies” such as the “Great Replacement Theory”! This is an OBVIOUS example of domestic terrorism!
The Buffalo tragedy hit all the talking points, so Biden brought it up constantly. (He was still talking about it last week!) Biden didn’t know (or didn’t care) that he was falling into the exact same trap as Gendron did: viewing people as part of a collective instead of as individuals:
When you have a collective mindset, your reaction to something is to run it through the “proper” political filter.
For example, let’s imagine you were caught at a party during lockdowns. Was this an unfortunate lapse in judgement, or did you recklessly attend a super-spreader event?
Depends on the letter after your name.
Are you lovingly caring for those being human trafficked out of Texas, or are you facilitating immigrants along to their final destination?
Depends on the letter after your name.
Are you bravely protecting Americans from misinformation, or are you banning books like a Nazi?
Depends on the letter after your name.
We could do this all day, but you probably understood this point long before today: In America there are two systems in place: one for the narrative followers and another for the opposition — and your actions are judged based on the politics of the situation. Are you heroically anti-war, or are you a Putin stooge?
It was this collective mindset — set against the prevailing narrative of the day — that led to perhaps one of the most unbelievable things I had never seen: When that murderous SOB Hale went on a rampage, the media turned the ‘real victims’ from the Christian children who were shot into……….the trans community?
I had to include this link because it shows just how far the media will bend over backward to reinforce the narrative:
Why does this headline say “may make THEM an….”? Hale was born female (Audrey), but “identified” as a male (Aiden) — even using the name in the manifesto itself. Hale NEVER identified as they/them, and isn’t using the wrong pronouns a hangable offense? Who got fired for this? I DEMAND HEADS!
The article goes on to repeatedly mention that Hale was BORN female, therefore belongs in a different category than “cis males.” Are trans men not men anymore? It’s so hard to keep track these days. In fact, media OVERWHELMINGLY refers to Hale as “Audrey” — and we all know that deadnaming is ALSO a capitol offense:
"When you deadname someone, you are using a name for them they have intentionally and specifically separated themselves from," says Kahn. Moreover, a deadname is a name that someone has announced does not reflect who they are or their identity, gender, and/or experience, they explain. When you deadname someone, you are ultimately signaling that you reject who they really are, as well as invalidating their true identity.
Isn’t it weird how these “rules” can just be ignored when they’re inconvenient but can also sometimes be an arrestable offense? (Feature, not a bug. There is no way to rule innocent men, after all.)
This overly political, collective mindset led to the suppression of the Nashville manifesto in the first place. The authorities read it, they knew what it said. They knew it when they went in front of committees and proclaimed white supremacy was the biggest threat in the country, at the very least insinuating that Donald Trump was responsible because of his “reprehensible” actions surrounding the 2020 election (including January 6th).
They knew release of this material would obliterate this narrative as surely as proof of early spread would obliterate the covid narrative — so down the memory hole it went. Media companies requested the manifesto be released, presidential candidates requested the manifesto be released, and more importantly, common sense demanded the manifesto be released.
Not only was the manifesto not released, Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell is actually investigating the leak — bravely looking into who dared finally tell the public the truth:
"I have directed Wally Dietz, Metro’s Law Director, to initiate an investigation into how these images could have been released. That investigation may involve local, state, and federal authorities. I am deeply concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving," — Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell
Unsurprisingly, YouTube removed Crowder’s video, citing the usual “violations.” Facebook censored the story, as did Reddit. We can’t have people wondering just who “radicalized” the Nashville shooter and how THOSE people should be punished. (Unpopular answer: They shouldn’t be. You can’t punish the sane for the actions of the crazy.) Somebody might dare to point out that Hale’s unhinged ramblings sounded a lot like the unhinged ramblings being pumped out of every DEI department in the country — many of which exist to grow the overall DEI industry. Somebody might point out that Hale may as well have graduated from DEI U — and the narrative can’t abide that. Instead, the narrative-makers go to GREAT lengths to defend a psychopath who killed children — because of the politics of the situation and the demographics of the targeted group. (How crazy is that?!?!?)
It’s only Trump (or other Republicans) who are responsible for the actions of their supporters, you see: In fact, much of the basis of recent legal cases against Trump assign him blame for his supporters actions — culminating in the ultimate question:
If there’s one thing we know about modern-day Democrats, it’s that they’ll stretch definitions (including insurrection) to the limit — or rewrite them entirely. If an edge case in 1936 allowed a non-relative to “deliver” a ballot for a single infirm voter in rural Pennsylvania, Democrats today use that rule descend upon urban nursing homes like a pact of locusts, “helping” residents fill out ballots the activists get paid for collecting.
Hell, if they could get away with it, Democrats would charge Trump with “insurrection” for stopping to help an old woman to her seat before the National Christmas Tree lighting in 2018. (Delaying an official event, clearly.)
But if there’s two things we know about modern-day Democrats, it’s that they throw tantrums when they don’t get their way — and they think those tantrums are justified.
We dealt with this in 2020 and it sure looks like we’re going to deal with it during 2024. How long can the administration look the other way in order to hold its fragile voter base together? (This is another problem with collectivist thinking. You can’t just come out and denounce a crazy person for being crazy.)
I wish I had a more concrete answer to this problem than “keep Screaming,” but in this case I feel like the entire DEI industry needs to DIE, and that won’t happen until a critical mass of people call out the insane, dangerous BS for the insane, dangerous BS it is. If the Hale story helps that occur, it will be a silver lining to a terrible tragedy.

Hale headline should have been "mentally ill woman shoots children".
Keeping the Hale docs from the public was no different from them hiding the Medical Examiner report of Sicknick or the murderer report of Ashli Babbit. The goal was to foment disinformation and unrest. Why would any government do that?
