From an ignorant rube
The other night just before I went to bed, I came across this article:
I fired off a link to Suannee (who wrote this great guest article about the issue) and then crawled into bed to go to sleep. But as I tossed and turned, sections of this article stuck with me, including this one:
This was incredibly ironic to me, because the ‘experts’ have been mocking the ‘conspiracy theorists’ talking about ‘chemtrails’ for years. And when those ‘experts’ decide to perform a weather-altering experiment, they do it in secret for fear of public backlash.
Some might call that a conspiracy.
A little later in the article, the author admits these types of risky experiments are fairly common and fall under the label ‘geoengineering’.
It’s hard to not see the entire exchange as — “They’re not chemtrails, we’re just putting chemicals in the air to change the weather — read a book, you ignorant rube!”
This type of shuck and jive is extremely offensive, as the ‘experts’ are simply using different words to describe the same thing us ‘normies’ are describing. On one hand, the ‘experts’ pretend to be offended we would even SUGGEST that they’re trying to change the weather, while on the other hand they’re trying to change the weather. (On a fundamental level, if they think climate change is a planet-ending problem, OF COURSE they are trying to change the weather!!!)
Sadly, centrally planned projects never seem to go as planned, as the ‘experts’ aren’t quite as ‘expert’ as they think they are.
This got me thinking back to covid — when ‘experts’ made up models that predicted hypothetical harm, then ran real ‘experiments’ that perhaps caused more harm than the original problem. (This is a problem because these ‘experts’ fixate on a specific measurement, which may not even be an important variable in the overall equation.)
Then when the dust settles and it turns out that maybe it wasn’t the greatest idea to mandate jabs for young healthy people……
………the ‘experts’ simply lie and say they were using the best information at the time.
But the truth is relentless, and sooner or later even the mainstream media is forced to admit that thousands of people “believe” they have been harmed by the covid vaccines.
And just like that, it becomes socially acceptable to declare that YOU have a vaccine injury:
It baffles me that Chris Cuomo — who spent the bulk of the covid era shaming the unvaccinated and supporting the official narrative — NOW wants to make it public that he’s suffering from a vaccine injury.
WHY WOULDN’T YOU BRING THIS UP WHEN IT HAPPENED, CHRIS?!!?!?
And now the issue is getting more attention, the ‘experts’ have pivoted to “Well, nothing is like 100% safe for EVERYBODY…..”
But this isn’t how the jab was sold, is it? There were no exceptions for people who had already gotten over the virus, no exceptions for people who with compromised immune systems, no exceptions for young healthy people who never needed any help getting over covid.
I know I just posted this a few days ago, but this video is a perfect example of what I’m talking about:
Notice that Flaherty doesn’t actually answer Jim Jordan’s question about misinformation/disinformation, he just keeps repeating that he was conveying the information provided by Very Smart People. So if you dig through the BS verbal diarrhea (and give them the benefit of the doubt, which you probably shouldn’t), you arrive at the conclusion that telling people they wouldn’t get covid if they got the jab was MISINFORMATION — the experts were wrong.
Meaning those experts — along with Flaherty himself — were spreading dangerous vaccine misinformation. More than a few people I know were removed from the online conversation based on that charge (and NOBODY who lied in support of the narrative was punished for it). Yet now we’re supposed to forget about the misinformation of the ‘experts’ because they (supposedly) didn’t know better — even though they called us ignorant rubes for disagreeing with the “settled science”?
That doesn’t fly with me.
Another perfect example is the Rand Paul/Anthony Fauci debacle surrounding gain-of-function research. Here’s the original exchange:
“You don’t know what you’re talking about, you ignorant rube!”
Yet just a couple years later, the receipts are being made public, and they prove the NIH was very interested in performing gain-of-function research in Wuhan — they just changed the name of it after covid.
See, it’s all just a misunderstanding! Rand Paul used the accepted definition of gain-of-function research, while Fauci used the opinions of the people possibly responsible for creating the virus in the first place! No biggie!
It’s poor sleight-of-hand at best.
And once you see it, you notice it everywhere.
Former hero of the left JK Rowling says that men can’t become women by wishing really hard, and the ‘experts’ jump into the fray to let her know that she’s an ignorant rube who needs to read a book — after all, fish can change sex!
Former hero of the left Elon Musk stands up for free speech, and now he’s labeled as an ignorant right-winger — because these days free speech is a right-wing thing?
Examples are numerous — Matt Taibbi (and now sidekick Walter Kirn), Glen Greenwald, Joe Rogan, and Tulsi Gabbard to name a few. All of which find themselves being called ‘right-wing’ because they didn’t sprint into insanity like Democrats did.
Democrats are supposed to be the party that cares about poor people — over and over I heard that I hate poor people because I lean libertarian. Yet the reason I lean libertarian is because of our fiscal policy — Ron Paul knew that when government prints and spends, those at the bottom of the ladder are hurt the most. And after the covid debacle, it gives me no pleasure to announce that we were right on the money on that one.
Yet now that it’s happened, Democrats do nothing to actually help the people who are struggling — they’re too busy gaslighting about how great the economy is and how people only THINK it’s bad because of the right-wing spin machine.
As if the problem in Portland is too many MAGAs watching Fox News.
“The economy is fine, you ignorant rubes!”
Voting machines were hackable, unaccountable mystery boxes that could easily (and untraceably) swing an election until 2020 — then even suggesting that Biden’s miracle comeback win smells as bad as his pants is tantamount to treason. (CLEANEST ELECTION EVER, YOU IGNORANT RUBE!)
Yet the truth is relentless.
Remember when printing trillions of dollars wasn’t going to lead to inflation? Until it did, and then suddenly inflation was a good thing?
THIS IS ACTUALLY GOOD FOR YOU, YOU IGNORANT RUBES!
But also, INFLATION IS YOUR FAULT:
Ultimately, it feels like everything in the country has been weaponized for use against the American people. The media showed exactly how bought-off they were during covid — when not a single mainstream reporter bothered to go to the official covid pages to report that the data undermined the narrative. Ditto for the ‘public health’ officials who continued to push vaccine mandates long after it was clear the jabs weren’t the ‘way out of the pandemic’ they promised.
And the biggest grift of them all — the ‘climate crisis’ is a near-perfect scam: it’s nearly impossible to measure the effectiveness of any given ‘intervention’, so the money keeps flowing to these ‘secretive’ groups throwing God-knows-what into the air and hoping for positive results.
This is frustrating to me, because the American people should be so much better off, but government is busy printing the wealth out from under us and using the newly printed cash to drop bombs on people we’re providing foreign aid to AND handing cash to the people they’re bombing — while also paying for the cleanup!
And if we speak up about it, they break out the typical insults:
“You just don’t understand you ignorant rubes! Ukraine is the beacon of democracy and if Ukraine falls, Putin will steamroll across Europe! So what if they canceled elections and throw critical press in jail? You aren’t a Putin stooge, are you?”
It’s enough to make you Scream.

I t has come so far, that, the moment I read something is said by some 'expert', I stop reading. It is that bad. I do not trust anyone calling themselves experts, nor any studies done (or nor done but money received) by 'experts', and God forbid if in the same sentence someone is called a scientist.
It has been known for years that the govt of the USA (and in the meantime of something like 52 countries) try to change the weather. Is that what causes 'the climate change'? their own stupid experiments that are good for nothing? How much would it save if we could lay off all these so called experts and put them to real work? (like taking down their labs and instead grow veggies)
