This Holiday, Be Thankful You See Through the BS
"Experts", stop trying to make "killing grandma" happen
Like the world’s most terrible clockwork, covid fearmongering is ramping up as Americans get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving. If you haven’t killed Grandma yet, Jeremy Faust (lol) wants you know — this could (finally) be the year:
Of course, long-time Screamers have known for quite some time the virus is highly seasonal, therefore this winter ‘surge’ is completely expected.
“Experts”, however, still seem to be baffled at the rise in virus activity, and continue to double up on the things that didn’t work in previous years:
Exactly how rampant is the spread on Hawaii island?
5 daily cases.
Not hospitalizations.
Cases.
The hospitalization data is similarly unconcerning:
Across the ENTIRE STATE, Hawaii is seeing……just under 8 new hospital admissions per day.
Eight.
Across the entire state.
But while we’re at it, this is a great time to go over the nation-wide stats and compare them to previous years. Here’s a reminder of the situation in 2020 (left) and 2021 (right):
The same information again in 2022:
This is exactly what we expect to see. As more people get the bug and obtain acquired immunity, the number of people susceptible to the virus shrinks. This means that every year that passes, the winter wave should be smaller than the year before.
And that’s exactly what we see this year:
So this holiday weekend, don’t worry about covid or killing Grandma — instead worry about gorging yourself so much your arms can no longer reach the food.
Have a happy and sane holiday, Screamers!

While we’re here, we might as well remember some of the “hits” from Thanksgivings past!
(My favorite part remains “may briefly use restrooms if frequently sanitized”.)
And here’s a quick reminder that the “experts” never followed their own rules:
But at least Birx had enough shame to retire:
Every time govt says to do something, do the exact opposite.
Only the very occasional mask in sunny S.Florida. Our surgeon general advised people under 65 (should have said everyone!) against getting the shots due to myocarditis and such.
He also forgot to mention the Turbo cancers. Swarms of people are moving here from NY, California and other states, and there’s a high-rise boom again. Insanely tall and expensive buildings.
