Hi SimCom, you did such a great job taking notes on this interview. Any plans to do the same with Tucker's interview with RFK, Jr. I've watched it already but really liked your reporting expertise.

I suppose I might be able to whip something up if people are interested - I watched it last night and was impressed how RFK didn't worry about what he's 'allowed' to say, he just spits the truth.

Example:

Tucker: Why do we have biolabs in Ukraine?

RFK: Because we're developing bioweapons.

How. Any of y'all have seen the video of the fence being taken down and rolled and stashed ( hidden) by the feds. Before the police line up the steps, hundreds of feet before, that pathway was blocked by fencing with signs saying no trespassing. Now if I had all that intel that there was gonna be trouble, I'd have made that fence a little better than a roll of chicken wire. And when the mfer rolled it up in line ten seconds, you could see it was designed to be rolled up in seconds. That's the trespassing they were using to charge all those innocents with. This fucking thing was a setup from the gitgo, and hopefully trumps lawyers will use every bit of it

On undercovers, we also know for a fact that Dept of Homeland Security had 50, yes FIFTY, undercovers embedded in the Proud Boys organization, because the gov't admitted to that in one of the J6 trials. We don't know how many of them were present at J6, but the real question is, how many J6'ers *weren't* Feds?

Good on Tucker for doing a 'redo' for the record.

I don't 100% agree with him, but I don't think I 100% agree with anyone and Tucker has been doing yeoman work lately in keeping the first amendment alive and kicking. Thanks for this!

If somebody agrees with me 100% I'm very very suspicious. I've mentioned in the comments before that he's not always been my favorite guy, but lately he's just been killing it.

The ironic thing is that his work (and mine too) is valuable precisely because the media is refusing to do it.

I owe my job to old fucks and I am scared to see them pass. So there are enough Democrat-loyal police chiefs and military officers to completely subvert normal procedure, chain of evidence, intelligence and orders/custody?

Subverting police and military commanders to the point that they side with a political faction rather than legal and moral authority is usually the final step before an outright coup d'etat, since by then the process making a coup "necessary" is self-sustaining.

Wish I could say something positive and encouraging.

And Pelosi had literally asked that the military stop listening to Trump.

https://news.yahoo.com/pelosi-consults-military-leader-preventing-170907487.html

Amid mounting pressure to remove President Trump from office, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday spoke to the nation’s top military leader about taking precautions to ensure against Trump rashly initiating a military action or nuclear strike in the chaotic waning days of his presidency.

“This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike,” Pelosi (D-San Francisco) said in a letter to her Democratic House colleagues Friday.

“The situation of this unhinged President could not be more dangerous, and we must do everything that we can to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy.”

Nancy's dirty little (drunk) pawprints are all over J6. I honestly didn't know that she practically engineered it herself! Benny ? [I remember him but not sure what his last name is], nasty Nancy, and White-Rage Milley. They sure show up a lot when bad behavior is involved... Interesting. I imagine Julie Kelly has noticed this. She's a smart woman - I hope she figures exactly who the primary treason-committer is. Milley and Pelosi both hate President Trump but they're pretty obvious and are terrible actors. I sure hope this gets unraveled before oldest ones start kicking off and avoid prison sentences.

Excellent article, SC! I'm glad I watched the interview, too.

"Making a coup "necessary" indeed!

Trump and any other not belonging to the same loose-or-tight coalition of forces as this Pelosi-person (was it her husband who had his head whacked by a hammer by a rented bum-boy the other year?) could if the media played along use her words and actions as proof positive of a conspiracy within the civil services, secret services and the Democrat party to effect a military-backed coup.

And then effect one of their own. "For a safe and secure society!"

I was trying to listen to the interview while I was weeding a garden but it kept having to buffer; however, I got the gist of it.

The whole situation is mind boggling.

(1) Did Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell really not think what was happening was serious? Did they think they Capitol Police were overreacting? Did they think that bringing in the National Guard would exacerbate the situation? Was it really that much out of nowhere for them? (That last question would mean they didn't pay attention to the warnings at all.) These are more "innocent" explanations.

OR

(2) This is the one that I increasingly lean toward especially with the hysteria surrounding Trump and the actions of the courts. It's like they're treating him like a traitor (I mean literal, give him the chair traitor) because they want to convince the rest of us he is a traitor. It's a circular mind game. We treat Trump as dangerous so you'll be convinced Trump is dangerous. Is he really dangerous? It doesn't matter. We need him to be dangerous, so we're going to treat him as dangerous. As for J6, I go back to 9/11. One of the easiest theories I found to swallow about the security "failures" is that they were not really failures. The intelligence community and the Bush administration knew what was going to happen, they took precautions to save the Pentagon and the White House, but they let the planes hit the World Trade Center. Why? The Patriot Act. Simple as that. We got played so they could make a play for power. There's something they are desperate to have here and they're going to use this fake "threat to democracy" to try to get it.

This feels so much like that, except they possibly helped it along, making it much closer to a Riechstag fire than a 9/11.

I've always found the "CIA and friends set up terrorist cells in arab nations during the Cold War and then lost control of them"-explanation as the most credible one as to why there was such a cover-up.

Then, politicians and pals - knowing or not - simply used a fait accompli to their advantage.

Expand full comment

I can buy that. But you don't find it strange that out of four planes, the only two that inflicted any real damage hit the Twin Towers really killing no one that "mattered." Plenty of carnage to support the laws they wanted to pass, but they lost no one they cared about. The other two planes just happened to hit an effectively unoccupied part of the Pentagon or "be driven into the ground by hero passengers" (what a great national narrative about sacrifice for country) before hitting the White House?

I'm not trying to start a fight. That part of the "story" is always my sticking point. It was an incredible stroke of "luck" that's pretty hard to stomach. If it were in a movie, you'd write at least one of them out as implausible.

The issue isn' emotional for me, not being american so no need to worry that Iä'll erupt because I cleave to a different theory of the event.

We had so much terrorism in Europe when I grew up, you sort of got used to the idea that "shit happens" and sometimes the police and the special forces simply cannot be on the ball. In 1975 f.e. members of Rote Armee Fraktion stormed and occupied the West German Embassy in Stockholm.

To say nothing of the de facto civil war and bombings of the IRA (and such) in Ireland and Britain, communists in West Germany and Italy, algerians in France and basques in Spain. Or Lebanon, Palestine and Israel and Turkey.

You could go on vacation somewhere warm and sunny, and you knew there was a small but real risk of something happening.

The US hadn't really suffered terrorist attacks on the home soil until the bombing of the WTC and then 9/11. I think the feeling of invulnerability helped amp up the shock and awe that the US could be hit by foreign agents at all, especially after the huge sigh of relief when theCold War ended.

As for theories of 9/11, I think an actual conspiracy within US circles of power and various agencies was and is too high risk for anyone to consider it - even if you think you have safeguards against outsiders discovering it, what about insiders using it for leverage?

Far safer to set things up so that something will happen, and then be ready to exploit whatever it is that ends up happening. To use a historical example: the Allied landings on D-day weren't planned to create the Falaise pocket, but they ended up doing so thanks to the orders of german high command, so the Allies exploited the pocket once it was clear they could.

Something will happen, because something is always happening: be ready to exploit it to your advantage. Good planning is a much safer strategy than detailed plans; just look at the Covid-response. There, plans replaced the very sound planning that was already in place.

And let's not forget that three-letter Fed agency that came into play, then power, and is not your friend, after 9/11 - the DHS...

" but while the attack was actually occurring, the people who could have stopped it DID NOTHING..."

The first part of this sentence is important too, and it often gets glossed over.

Among all the other things I really loathe about Trump is how easily he lets himself get baited into traps that so many of his not-so-swift followers fall into too.

To be clear--I dislike any and all rampaging morons, no matter what side they're on and who they're shrieking at. The feminist howlers [edited to keep our nickname pure] running through the Capitol and accosting everyone they could corner during the Kavanaugh hearings--I feel the same about them.

Trump's type is a little over-familiar to me. These guys so addicted to chaos they don't care what gets destroyed by what they unleash. They can't stop themselves and too often there's no one in their circle tough enough to confront them and help them to ramp down.

Imagine if all that wild energy of his supporters had been used in email and letter-writing and phone campaigns demanding all their state election officials looked seriously and publicly into irregularities. But that's so boring, ain't it?

When you make it easy for your enemies to win, you maybe ain't so capable in dealing with Swamp Thing.

Got the feed from another source earlier this afternoon and I watched the whole interview. The guy is a straight arrow who is really reluctant to speculate. That adds to his credibility. But at the same time, you can sense he KNOWs the whole fiasco was politicized and weaponized. And from what he details, from the highest levels. The absence of any of this in MSM, the so called J6 Committee also tells you it's on target.

Will anything happen? Pelosi investigated? Milley...et al? Nope, life in the Beltway will continue as before. As Bongino says, it hasn't got (quite) bad enough...yet.
