I try very hard to understand why some people got vaccinated, and not to judge them.
But I'm not going to extend the same courtesy to those who show their vaccine cards to get privileges denied to others (whether they're students attending school in LA or diners at a restaurant in Chicago). Not even when they acknowledge its uselessness and stupidity (looking at you, Bari Weiss, since you've made the news recently). I'm not sure I'm ever going to be able to get over their complicity.
I am looking at Bari Weiss as well - what "news" have you seen? - I saw her within the past week saying "there is simply zero evidence that the vaccines are killing people" quote / unquote and she wasn't even following orders!
Totally agree and doubly agree re Bari Weiss. In that vid that went viral, she didn't even seem to have a problem with the concept of showing vaccine proof. Such a big "tell" that she's an elitist who attempts to present herself as somehow above all that (or even somewhat conservative in some regards). I see through her attempts to be in front of any upcoming pendulum swing.
It's quite interesting that toddlers in the US and younger children are so much more contagious and in "danger" than those in other countries that don't mandate masks and/or vaccinations for this group. Yet all based on the same "science?"
Even crazier, they are super at-risk in LA or Chicago but not in Texas or Florida or any of the other sane states that don't put masks on kids to go to school.
I think I’ve discovered situation commanders commenters’ forte.... “punishment fitting the crime” seems to be the prevailing theme on this particular post. I like it. We have “shoving their faces in their own shit” and “a secret trial with no control group....” both ideas are phenomenal.
Whatever the hell "this" is....when it finally ends, we need to smash their faces into it like a dog who's left a dump somewhere they shouldn't. We need to imprison some, embarrass others, and change laws everywhere so this CAN'T happen ever again.

Agree about destroying loopholes. But Chicago is a totally lost cause. Did you know that you can go to a convention with tens of thousands of people at McCormick Place if you are unvaccinated? But you cannot eat food there without a vax card. This is beyond loopholes.

And since all eating and drinking must be done in their special area, you can't even have a vaxxed somebody grab you a burger and bring it back to you.

However, designated areas will be set up for the consumption of food and beverage and proof of COVID-19 vaccine WILL BE required for entry into those areas. As a result of this requirement, outside food and beverage are not permitted into the 2022 Chicago Auto Show.
Tell me how this makes sense. At the meeting I am attending there are classrooms with hundreds of people- no vax. Unless you want a coke or a burger, then show your vax card. Why are the food vendors ok with this?
