Since I've gathered over the years that the study and the debate of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights is a popular pastime and scholarly subject on par with how jews, orthodox christians and moslems study scripture (yes, really, to an outsider that is what it most resembles, especially when arguments get heated - the Varangian guard of Byzantium often had to stop monks and priests from rioting over interpretations of scripture after all) -
Would it be possibe for some one like this refugee from Innsmouth, Inslee, to either suspend elections due to a state of emergency (Covid) or to require proof of up-to-date injection to be allowed to vote?
I ask in earnest: if his bureaucrats comply with orders, and the National Guard, police and so on also comply with orders and the vote gets manipulated via state of emergency (trust me, even without reading the ctual regs, I know from experience that such regs are always written quite open-ended, to make the facts fit th needs of power): what could the federal governement then do if it, on its supra-state level was to decree the whole shenanigans invalid, even criminal?
Because I must say, the odds of a future administration ordering federal agents and forces to move in and disarm state forces loyal to Insell? Zip, zero and zilch.

At the end Inslee acknowledges that his order will create problems, but he's doing it anyway: "I recognize the difficulties of implementing this Directive to maintain the health and reduce the long-term impacts of COVID-19 on our state workforce."
Inslee's idiocy (or bad faith) is revealed in this part of his statement:-
"COVID-19 vaccines are effective in reducing infection and serious disease, and widespread vaccination is the primary means we have as a state to protect everyone, including persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons,.........."
So apart from the world by now knowing the vaccines do not reduce infection, he insists they should be given to people "who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons". Wouldn't that be AGAINST doctor's orders?
