Another public health agency ignores public health
One of my very first Substack posts covered how Washington state was disappearing ‘inconvenient’ covid data. In that case, they were hiding the fact that hospitals were never in danger of being overrun. (Something that should have been obvious on April 8, 2020, when Inslee ordered the field hospital at Century Link to be dismantled)
Recently I detailed how King County was moving their goalposts to hide fading vaccine efficacy, disappearing almost all of the actual data on the site and only showing ‘age and time adjusted’ estimations based on OTHER estimations of vaccine uptake.
Sadly, Washington state hasn’t been the only place that’s doing this. Scotland is no longer going to publish its covid data.
Public Health Scotland will stop publishing data on covid deaths and hospitalisations by vaccination status - over concerns it is misrepresented by anti-vaxx campaigners.
But we don’t have to go across the world to find other examples. The CDC is hiding data right here at home!
For more than a year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has collected data on hospitalizations for Covid-19 in the United States and broken it down by age, race and vaccination status. But it has not made most of the information public.
Kristen Nordlund, a spokeswoman for the C.D.C., said the agency has been slow to release the different streams of data “because basically, at the end of the day, it’s not yet ready for prime time.” She said the agency’s “priority when gathering any data is to ensure that it’s accurate and actionable.”
Another reason is fear that the information might be misinterpreted, Ms. Nordlund said.
Yes, the priority of the agency that ‘suggested’ we all wear masks and that the vaccine would end the pandemic — even while knowing it would do nothing of the sort — is CLEARLY ensuring data is accurate and actionable.
Remember when the CDC pointed at the Kansas mask study as proof that masks worked?
Many of us immediately noticed what’s wrong with this chart: there are two different axes. In fact, when the data was shown with both lines on the same axis, the study actually showed masked counties ALWAYS had more covid than non-masked counties.
And CDC published this ‘recommendation’ in late November. Guess what had already happened between the end of study and the time the CDC published the recommendation? (Study duration in red boxes)
In other words, the original data was completely cherry-picked and the newest data had ALREADY blown the study out of the water. Both masked and unmasked counties saw huge increases at the start of the winter surge. Yet the CDC still pointed to this study as proof of mask efficacy, KNOWING IT WAS BULLSHIT.
Accurate and actionable my ass.
That brings us, at long last, to Snohomish County. For months they have been breaking down data between vaccinated and unvaccinated cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. It was one of the only places left that I could be confident in the numbers because they were easily available. Last month’s vaccine efficacy chart looked like this (data through December):
The data was clearly showing the protection granted by the jab faded quickly, which tracked with nearly everywhere else around the world. I looked forward to the new report being released and seeing what the new numbers were.
Well, the report is out, and guess what we don’t see inside? Not only have they removed the vaccine efficacy charts, THEY HAVE REMOVED EVERY PIECE OF DATA RELATED TO THE BREAKDOWN OF CASES, HOSPTAILIZATIONS, AND DEATHS. All of it. Gone. The numbers get inconvenient? Disappear ‘em!
Of course, data is only ‘inconvenient’ if the goal is one other than truthfully informing us of our risks. This is one of the dangers of central planning. The ‘leaders’ get tunnel vision and ignore everything but the goal of getting people vaccinated, and soon they are lying to us to ‘increase uptake’. This problem won’t be solved by hiding even more data.
The People’s Convoy Update
It’s official, a planned convoy is heading east to Washington DC. They plan to arrive on March 1, the new date of Biden’s state of the union address. (Now with more fencing!) Notice how they anticipate the establishment’s slurs and pre-empt them:
This actually makes me a little nervous. I believe Biden was going to use the speech to declare victory over covid now that the political science is dragging him down on this issue. However, he might not want to give off the optics that the convoy forced his hand. It would be ironic if the protest against covid rules ended up leading to the extension of covid rules.
The road to hell is paved with CDC regulations.
The latest "admission" of CDC cooking/hiding data by the "paper of record" is important in the sense that it can begin the slide in confidence of the CDC from even the liberal "true believers" and further revelations about the CDC cooking data (aka fraud) will now not seem so unbelievable.
For those paying attention to the actual data and the CDC's sleight of hand this is but a nominal admission.
Perhaps the grandest deception from this political outfit came on March 24, 2020 when the CDC abruptly changed how death certificates were recorded. This led to massive C19 death misattribution and was used to gin up the fear and used as rationale for the following Covid policies which have had devastating consequences in every way imaginable including the demolition of the economic system.

Family of 4, 3 of them vaxxed and boosted, one to young to get the clot shot, all have covid. I'm going to say the the efficacy of their shots is at the highest 0, and is most likely negative. Makes you wonder why all of the data is disappearing...
BTW, if the CDC, your Snohomish County, the FDA, and all of the rest of the government agencies/departments are no longer going to publish data, should all of those employees be let go? What is their function anymore, besides denying FOIA requests and deleting old emails and scrubbing their data backups servers?
