Democrats keep acting like they never need to win an election again. What do they know?...

Lots of good points. One correction: someone entering the country illegally is not an immigrant. An immigrant is some one who immigrates, which means (by definition) according to immigration process defined by law (congress). Truth is that Trump was "pro-immigrant": Trump's policy was simply to follow the law as enacted. Further, early in his administration, Trump had his FP enter a bill in the senate that would have reformed immigration law, which (ironically?) included in law many of the provisions "pro-immigration" advocates claimed to desire, including features of the empty promise known as DACA (which was what legal experts refer to as political bovine excrement). That bill was blocked by both parties. Neither of which actually wants to promote immigration, but rather, prefer to preserve an illegal population.

The Obama administration was very anti-immigrant. They blocked legislation that would expand (legal) immigration and instead produced empty promises known as "DACA" (total fraud). The made it more difficult to immigrate and more attractive to enter illegally, growing the illegal (and exploitable) population. If we use language correctly, the reality may become more clear.

Some days I'm optimistic "people have had enough of the bull shit", yet most days I think "people actually like being covered in bull shit."

Basing important decisions that require logic and common sense on feelings and emotions is how the Dems operate. That is why, as Dennis Prager often says, “The left ruins everything it touches.”

It certainly does appear that Dems constantly aim for short-term gain, while failing to see the larger consequences of what they do. In fact, that’s an accurate description of progressive policies in general- never seeing the obvious consequences of ideas that sound good on the surface.

And yet, we see that they have somehow managed “the long march through the institutions” and now control most of the culture. It seems that while we were laughing at the crazy ideas on college campuses and calling them snowflakes, they just kept plowing ahead using the silly blue haired nose ring kids as cover while they accomplished most of what they sought. Most of it, but not all. Yet.

It’s a mistake to look at them now in seeming disarray, and think they don’t have an idea for how they plan to forge ahead to the final goal.

Rest assured, they have a plan. We have to think harder to see it.

I think you should write a column on 'How Trump Can Still Lose and What Will Happen When He Loses.

If Joe Biden is the Democrats' candidate, and if he somehow implausibly "wins" again (90 million votes? 100 million?), what will the mood of the country be? (I say very unhappy that their vote has been stolen again, and very VERY unhappy over the situation on the southern border) How will that manifest itself? What will the uniparty do to forestall widespread civil disobedience? What are they doing now to rig the election, yet make it seem like they didn't?

SC - "self-inflicted wounds" Excellent rundown. Four years of TIDS - Trump Indictment (Insurrection) Derangement Syndrome have given T-rump publicity he could never afford to buy. In 2020 168M registered = 81M vs 75M with 12M registered non voters during a "pandemic". In "pandemic" free 2024, ~183M registered - 13M non voters = 170M - 156M (ceteris paribus) = 14M new voters of which 85% are registered as Dems, and 37% are born post 1980 = Gen Z & Millenials = 5M. 14M of which 6M must vote for T-rump to draw level, only then can the other 8M and crossovers decide the election. Bonnie is one smart puss, Gangster is one chill puss, while you are lucky. Hoppy Easter.

I believe there was a Democratuc debate. It took place in the WH kitchen between Slo Joe a slice of pizza and a Tootsie Roll. It was pay=for=view only to paying members of the DNC ( that's right, you had to pay twice). Very Democratic.

Since the Democrats will win using anonymous mail-in ballots delivered at night in any key area they need, why should they bother with debating or anything else?

Their actions, far as it can be seen from here, speaks to a party that /knows/ in advance it will win; nothing they do seems geared to winning votes. If they did, they'd be serving up the pork with a big ladle to the demographics they want and need - but they don't.

Unless you know swedish political history (why would you?) you'll have to take the following on faith:

For close to 3/4s of the 20th century, the Socialist Democrat party was in power in one way or the other, either with majority of votes or in coalition with communists, feminists and greens. Every election year, they'd promise to fix lots and lots of problems. Every election year, they'd pump out extra money to various parts of our welfare-industrial complex (it's really called that in swedish, it is a major player in our domestic politics, akin to the MIC in the US) giving the illusion of that if you don't vote Socialist Democrat, the other parties will take it away from you.

I'm sure you recognise the tactic?

I see zero sign of the Democrats doing anything like that this time around (though it may be due to me not being american and not privy to the inside baseball of your politics), and the only two reasons I can think of why they don't is that money has run out (haha) or that they know they don't need to so why bother and risk backlash when the money-tap is shut off half a year after the election?

I think that around the US, prepared mail-in ballots are being stored and I also think that Democrats in key districts are quietly ensuring totally loyal people are in charge of counting the votes and overseeing voting.

Mail-in ballots and no voter ID is a guarantee for cheating.

My Portland and NYC adult kids said they support “none of the above” in the election between Bobby, Donald, and Joe. I was surprised they were against Bobby but I didn’t want to start a family feud by asking why. I am very open about my support for literally Trump and I make no apologies.

Can we stop prefacing our support for Trump by saying, “I don’t like his tweets, but . . .”

It sounds like people in the ‘70’s saying, “I’m not prejudiced but . . .”

Restacking. This is one of five articles I want to write. You don't perhaps feel like collaborating on an article about the NY AG (James) burning down NY and much of the rest of the country to assuage her ego?

RFK Jr., with his choice of VP, basically cement Trump's victory in 2024 election. In the 2020 election, people were voting for Trump or *against* Trump. Many of those Never-Trumpers will still not vote for Trump in 2024. However, they now have a choice, and they will split votes between Biden and RFK Jr.

A strong 3rd party candidate can influence the outcome of the election. In the 1992 presidential election, 3rd party candidate Perot won 19% of the popular votes! RFK Jr. will likely win between 3-8% of the popular votes, with a significant share of Never-Trump votes. Trump will likely keep his 2020 voters and gain some, and a good chance of winning more than half of popular votes.

Still, we should expect some October surprise because the losing side has to do something to change the course of history...

It doesn’t really matter what the Democrats do now because they are going to cheat. And when their cheating ends up successful, they will claim a mandate. Actual fascists and actual communists are in nearly total control of the most powerful government in the history of earth. And they brag about their intentions to make the most of it. They have been building the infrastructure for it. I hope enough people in positions to effect the outcomes of this are in place and can execute, but I am skeptical at this point. Hope you are all ready for what’s coming. God bless you all. We are gonna need it. This is not a black pill. This is reality.
