Let's go back in time!

Remember last year when the ‘anti-science’ folks were blamed for the continuing covid outbreak in America? Although the seasonality of the virus had been obvious for a year at that point, the ‘experts’ couldn’t resist deriding the ‘idiots’ in the red states for the existence of covid. Here’s what the HHS hospital utilization map looked like roughly 1 year ago:

If only people would mask harder or lockdown longer, the ‘experts’ cried! OF COURSE the covid plan works, it’s the Kulaks and the wreckers who are ruining the whole thing!

Fast forward to a year later, and the experts are too busy eating crow to lecture us about masking or distancing — especially now that the virus is breaking through seasonality and settling in the most vaccinated areas in the country.

Isn’t it strange that there’s no article decrying the ‘anti-science’ status of the states with the highest covid hospitalizations? We had to listen to Fauci saying “New York did it correctly” after the state sped up its curve by infecting all the at-risk at once. Yet there’s no follow-up today as to why the most vaccinated areas are being hit hardest. Why, one might think those 2021 attacks were POLITICAL in nature and not science-based at all!

The good news is that covid hospitalizations are still a very minor blip on the radar of the overall health system. Less than 5% of beds are taken with a covid-positive patient, and nearly 25% of beds sit empty. It will be nearly impossible for the hospitals to be overrun with covid this year…….unless the vaccines are actually making things worse.

The bad news is that we’re rushing headlong into winter, when virus activity is high across the entire country. Even if the virus itself doesn’t cause chaos, there’s a very high chance the ‘leaders’ will do so by overreacting to the bug.

And of course the elephant in the room is how the jabs interact with other health issues. Widespread reports of accelerating cancers, blood clots, heart issues, and immune deficiency are finally seeping out of the cracks and into the mainstream discourse. (Of course, still none of this in FDA ads, it’s still all rainbows and sunshine in your booster shot!) Hopefully we don’t see the “winter of severe illness and death” in the vaccinated that Joe Biden predicted for the unvaccinated last winter.
