What a surprise, he’s late! Man, I can’t understand why people don’t want this guy handling their healthcare decisions!

Now Biden is finally here, telling us about how covid cases are rising, but it’s alright because we have vaccines! But Grandpa Joe, if we have vaccines, how are covid cases rising? And how are more vaccinations going to stop it?

More lies about how almost everybody who has died of covid is unvaccinated. 31% of deaths in King County, WA in the last 30 days are fully vaccinated people. Seems like a pretty large percentage to me! Where are the reporters asking these questions?

No mention of people who have recovered from the virus. Biden continuing to say that we will get sick and spread the virus if we’re not vaccinated.

WE OWE IT TO THE COUNTRY TO GET VACCINATED! IT’S OUR PATRIOTIC DUTY! This is a bigger load than the doody Biden delivered to the Pope. Patriotism is not blindly following your government.

There is good news, though. Biden says we’re not going back to March 2020, which I take to mean lockdowns. This isn’t much of a surprise because Biden would own the lockdowns politically this time around. Just more confirmation that lockdowns were political and not about health at all.

Biden claims we don’t need to go back to March 2020 because we’re ready this time. This year we know that schools can remain open! (We also knew this last year, and in fact very early in 2020 — take a read!)

Throughout the pandemic, many child care centers have stayed open for the children of front-line workers — everyone from doctors to grocery store clerks. YMCA of the USA and New York City's Department of Education have been caring for, collectively, tens of thousands of children since March, and both tell NPR they have no reports of coronavirus clusters or outbreaks.

Now we’re getting to what Biden is doing to combat the virus. Ug.

1) More vaccination and booster support. 10,000 new vax sites on top of the 80,000 we have already.

Uh…..I guess that’s all, because now we’re back to claiming that the unvaxxed are going to spread the virus and keep this crisis going forever. More vaccinations are the only answer.

”Those who are not vaccinated are causing hospitals to be overrun.”

That is 100% pure unadulterated bullshit. 9.78% of beds are taken by somebody with a positive test. 25% of beds ARE EMPTY. (Long-time readers will note the virus has moved into the NE exactly as we predicted)

OMG some people are making money off misinformation! No, not the pharmaceutical companies. It’s the people who are talking shit about Big Pharma! They are making money AND THAT IS IMMORAL! (You couldn’t make this up if you tried)

We’re going to be able to keep businesses open with vax requirements! Vaccinations keep people safe, and these things are put into place TO SAVE YOUR LIFE! (Still no mention of those who have recovered.)

Kids are safe from corona because they are kids, and schools should be open. BUT! Maybe everybody who works there should be vaccinated and masked anyway. To keep the kids safe. The federal government paid for all this, so what’s the problem?

To sum it up, corona is super scary, but don’t worry! We have magical jabs that will shut down the virus. Eventually. (My guess is in the spring)

Overall, this is nothing we weren’t expecting. The unvaxxed are to blame, get your shots, and give shots to your kids ASAP. Complete silence about acquired immunity. At least he didn’t announce any travel restrictions or lockdowns. Yet.

Now I gotta go take a shower. I feel gross.
