What’s the Difference Between Resistance and Insurrection?

Not much time today, but I did want to touch on a couple semi-related stories that have recently surfaced. First, the DOJ subverted then-President Trump’s legal order to declassify documents revealing how the FBI lied in order to ‘investigate’ Trump after his 2016 election win.
This story has sort of been dripping out since it happened, but from where I’m sitting, the entire Russiagate hoax was to prevent Trump from digging into what happened at the FBI during the 2016 election and just afterward. This stuff makes Watergate look like something the Riverdale 4-H club would pull. Yet today, the criminals are back in power and (surprise!), they aren’t interested in telling you about their crimes.
Somebody who DOES want to talk about her crimes is Deborah Brix, who wrote a book I won’t link about her time in the Trump administration. The entire book, Brix describes about how she was an inside insurrectionist a brave resistance warrior on the inside, twisting numbers and outright lying to the president. She’s also admitted to having a ‘pact’ with other top-level bureaucrats to quit if Trump fired any of them.
Here we have instances of people who ostensibly work for the PotUS directly contradicting and subverting him. And these are far from the first instances. Yet these acts are held up as heroic and ‘saving’ the country from the menace that is Donald Trump.
Yet when Biden can’t manage to get any of his wishes through the actual law-making process, his first reaction is to declare that Congress isn’t doing its job and to become the strongman he accused Trump of being.
Who needs checks and balances and division of power when you have a demented old guy with a pen and a phone? This is the same dude who has the audacity to say that it’s THE OTHER GUYS who are a danger to democracy!
This guy hasn’t met an issue yet that can’t be handwaved away by an executive order. That’s how America works, right?
Bonus story: Biden has covid. Repeat the line.

So you’re telling me that if Trump had fired Birx, Fauci would have quit?
WTF, man! Why didn’t Trump hit that eject button?
Somehow we need to get rid of the deep state. I propose firing everyone in the federal government with an odd social security number ... and if that doesn't work, fire those with even social security numbers. Send the money back to the taxpayers and the states.
