Polling has this actual three-legged horse at 25%, though it’s been dead for 60 years.

A week or so ago I wrote an article lamenting that it seems nobody actually wants to win this year’s presidential campaign, as the candidates suffered from self-inflicted wounds. At that time, Trump was attacking RFK Jr. saying — among other things — “His views on Vaccines are FAKE, as is everything else about his Candidacy.”

Trump elaborated on that claim in a recent video:

Like the Truth social post that got this ball rolling, this strikes me as a terrible mis-reading of the mood of the country. If Trump wants the votes of people who question the covid vaccine, he should simply promise to investigate and release all government correspondence that relates to its development and rollout. From the little bits we’ve seen, we know what we’re going to find — massive collusion in service of pharmaceutical companies by our ‘public servants’ and mainstream media, suppression of all dissent and alternative forms of treatment, and a coverup of gain-of-function research that likely led to the outbreak in the first place.

Trump — just admit you got conned and spare no expense to bring the perpetrators to justice. That’s how you get the votes of the ‘anti-vaxxers’ — not telling people that RFK Jr. is faking his views on vaccines.

…..so we can’t deny that RFK Jr. is going to be SOME sort of force in this race. So naturally, he angered right-leaning voters when answering this question about supporting full-term abortions nationally:

This did not go over well, and Kennedy walked back his stance nearly immediately — now seemingly favoring some sort of Roe-like nationwide law with limits on late-term abortions.

That brings us to President Biden, who drops in popularity just by being President Biden. First up, MORE spending on weapons for Ukraine! It turns out that last $60 billion wasn’t the magic money that would turn around the war. Who could have seen this coming? 🙄

Not content with angering the “Putin stooges” who oppose funding the Ukraine war, President Biden decided to anger the Pro-Israeli side of the Israel/Palestine war by threatening to withhold weapons if Israel assaults Rafah — essentially telling them: “Don’t”. (It’s worked so well in the past!)

You’ll never guess what happened after this threat:

So now withholding weapons — an impeachable offense just a few years ago — is now just subject to the whim of the President! This move is beyond the comprehension of 2019 Joe Biden — who wasn’t President then, but COULD walk and talk at the same time:

Now Biden has pissed off supporters on BOTH sides of this war, and is facing nationwide protests on college campuses — just as election season is getting into full swing. This worries high-ranking members of the DNC, who are quietly trying to minimize the “Chicago” in this year’s nomination process:

The money shot:

Saving democracy is about curtailing the speech of your former base so that elites who donate money to the party don’t have to hear dissent and still get their traditional tongue bath!

It’s hard to believe these guys aren’t winning! But don’t take my word on that — let’s do another check-in with James Carville, who last week ranted about the stupidity of young voters:

Who could have guessed that enacting terrible policies, gaslighting the public about those policies, and then calling your base stupid when they see through the lies wouldn’t work?

Why not try working for the American people instead of selling them out? Why not reign in the ridiculous government spending, including funding all sides of a war nobody wants to be involved in? Why not actually shut the southern border?

Oh, right, all that is racist.

This is the major problem with demonizing one’s political opponents as Bad People. When it turns out maybe they were right after all, people have a much harder time admitting it.
