Good ones. I have an idea for a game show. What appliance, or pipe, or electrical wiring, or computer part will break next? My stackable washer/dryer broke. Lots of substitutes but the only one that will fit the space is "no longer available". And I just found out my shift key on the left side of the keyboard doesn't work. I guess I'll spend what's left of my life looking for a washer/dryer that will fit my space. Arrghh! I like the fox getting the milk. But dogs and magic, OMG.
Thanks as always! Always bring the belly laughs that are much needed. I don't know why but the "Bohemian Rhapsody" came up in my mind watching that raccoon.
Billy Martin pulling that pine tar gambit out of his [censored] and using it to win the game and demolish George Brett’s universe is about the best example of that Conan maxim we’re going to get in the modern world. (Brett could count as both an enemy and one of their women.) So what if it got overturned later; the day belonged to Billy and the Bronx.
Sorry SimCom, while I appreciate getting the plumbing fixed is a HUGE relief, I have to go with Conan on this one. Perhaps updated to: "Crush Anthony Fauci, see him driven before you, and hear the lamentations of his woman (who should go with him)."
I love the dogs video. I almost want to dig out my husband's old magic stuff to see if I could find something to mystify my chihuahua.
And congrats on the bathroom. One doesn't appreciate indoor plumbing enough until one is without it for a while. When we were living rough for a year, we did keep it together, we had a camp toilet and shower, but the first real hot showers we got in our trailer when we moved into that were complete heaven. May you have many years of happy hot showers in your future!! :D
Well, as a builder, I looked at your pictures, and a multitude of "if this, then that" questions immediately entered my mind. None of them good, mind you. Assuming you were replacing water supply lines, hot & cold, there is no way I would have torn open the ceiling. If your water lines were galvanized, yep, about 50 yrs old, they start failing. I'm also assuming, your main floor is a concrete slab, so, only drain lines are under that. Now, assuming you Don't, have a second story, the supply lines could easily be run across the tops of ceiling joist, and assuming PEX is permitted, you would only have had a small opening in the wall, inside the sink vanity, or tub/shower access (usually hidden in a closet.) the old supply lines could have been cut loose, and abandoned in place.
As for the cats being happy about running water again, I can certainly appreciate that. 😁👍
SC - Keep up the good work and thanks for the Gangster update.
OMG so many good videos this week. Also the pine tar game.
Plan A: try to watch Dexter. If it's too disturbing…
Plan B: watch Psych, which you can see queued up in the background.
I love Psych. Haven't watched Dexter.

Reminds me of the dog retrieving the ball from the lake and then dropping it back down the hill....
I loved everything in this installment! The standout, of course, was the Good Samaritan who clearly saved the guy in the wheelchair.
Without the help, that dude might still be struggling through the intersection!
Thanks as always! Always bring the belly laughs that are much needed. I don't know why but the "Bohemian Rhapsody" came up in my mind watching that raccoon.
Happy Tuesday. I have been busy.
I love every one of these videos SC!
Wow you picked some happy ones.
I am sorry about that horrible plumbing leak, what a messy disaster. Just disgusting.
I hope the work was meticulously done, water leaks can be toxic inside walls
Of course it is nice to see G back at his desk in the sink, doing his best work.
I love the kitty that brought the snake to the snack dish.
It occurs to me that kitty needs a baby kitty.
YES

..................I could be convinced.

Now I'm like a month behind on laundry :P
horrible. Happy Washing
I just finished watching a really, really wonderful dog movie called "Red Dog" on Amazon:

I highly recommend this movie, it totally captured my heart after first 2 minutes of the movie.
okay. Is it going to make me sad and cry? I hope not
No, it actually has quite a lot of humor, it's a beautiful true story of dog who was quite famous in Australia.
HOORAY I will watch it,. This sounds terrific thank you!!!
It's one of my favorite movies!! Enjoy!
I think I sent you the dogs vid.
Have a wonderful week!
Thank you!!
Dogs and magic for the win! Thanks, SC!
Watch a squirrel run onto the field during this Tigers/Orioles game, it's a good time being had by everybody in the park!

Pex for the win!
I knew you were brilliant 😊
Thanks, I spent over 45 years in the building trades, there isn't any sub trades I don't have at least some experience in. 😁
The magic tricks for dogs, the bear bath, and the cat eating with snake friend-the best. Got me out of my bad-mood Monday! Thank you!
Glad to help!
Great roundup this week! My dog got jealous when I watched Dogs and Magic.
