In a milder environment, we have something similar probably going on in Louisiana. It gives the Democrat governor ammunition to overrule recommendations and order vaccinations of school kids next year.
You wouldn’t know this if you watched the local news in Chicago. It’s a state of emergency, no hospital beds available, every hospital on diversion, all due to covid and oh by the way these are all children who are hospitalized. This is more fear mongering than I have ever seen in the press in Chicago.
