So...the part about not being able to detain someone just to "check their papers" is of course consistent with the US constitution's requirements. After that, whoa...fasten your seatbelt this is a wild ride into absurdity presented as logic.
What I like about the mayor's statement is that he uses the word "inclusive" in the first paragraph and then says anyone with whom he disagrees is excluded from having civil rights.
I fled the People’s Democratic Republic of Washington after 70 years of watching the Kitsap Peninsula be consumed and destroyed by this shit. Even considered moving to the other side of the mountains, but the filth has metastasized and has spread to Eastern Washington also. Spokane is lost.
I just spent 3 weeks in Seattle on Pier 91. In a ship. Going out and about a few times, and heading down to Jacks BBQ past the stadiums and back made me sick. Stuck in traffic and seeing the masses of poor humanity. The only normal looking people were making their way across the street in front of us for a Mariners-Yankees game. Yes, I felt sick and on edge. I can't help but wonder how all the tech cameras and 5G and EMFs and all those things directed at these people day after day play into the scenarios of behavior manipulation. The ship has steel doors, floors and ceilings and the internet is shite. It was such a relief to get there. And the masks! Everyone was wearing them. Glad you are better SC. Thanks for what you do.♥
That's so weird that the list was removed. I wonder if DHS worried that the list would draw more illegals to those counties. Or if the issue was that some counties are claiming that they shouldn't be on that list.
Just an added piece of data from the protests/rally in Cal Anderson Park. As of this morning, there have been 23 arrests. One arrest has been referred to King County prosecutor's office for consideration, but no charges have been filed. They are reviewing the evidence. What are the odds that no one is ever charged with a crime by a city which believes christian values are "beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values." Maybe Seattle should be renamed to Sodom.
This is standard practice indeed, to grant a permit for a protest/march where it will cause the most violent response. Or, barring that, where no-one will be able too see it. Depends on what the power granting the permit wants to happen.
No I'm not being conspiracist: I used to be out rioting in the 1980s, and this was standard practice here then and elsewhere all over Western Europe. As Antifa (which was dormant in the 1980s) came to become a useful idiot-collection to liberal-progressive anti-White and anti-Christian/Jewish powers during the late 1990s (it was called AFA but went back to the original name in the 2000s - if you're a radical, change the name of the group often and always create lots and lots of groups to appear as if you're representing a silent majority) the tactic became more and more of a standard response to create "casus belli" to curb the rights of unwanted voices and opinions in a legal manner.
"No, you can't protest patriarchal oppression and genital mutilation in moslem cultures, because the moslems would riot if you did, and causing a riot means we can deny you permit"
If you have noticed how it always only goes one way, well done. The groups most useful, most violent and having the most victim points wins.
If this reminds you of the Kindergarten-Karen who'd always believe the tattletale that was the instigator of every fight and conlict just because she/he cried first and loudest - well done! This is just the adult version of the same psychopathology in action.
What will come after this is the mayor's office granting "community organisers" and "civil rights groups" the right to sit-in on police policy and procedure hearings and meetings, eventually granting these groups inofficial rights to affect and demand policy: i.e. the mayor's office will gain political control over the police via these groups who will be able to use the police to quiet and harass all they deem undesirable.
I read the trade court's ruling as well. The tariffs business is too much like covid: declare an emergency, and that authorizes you to do whatever you want.
Exactly! But it was interesting here because the courts were like "Well obviously this doesn't count".......yet they weren't interested in critiquing covid emergency powers in the slightest. (At least until long after it mattered.)
In both cases, the wording is vague on purpose - so government can do whatever it wants to do.
Trump makes claims based on the vague wordings, but gets stopped by injunctions. Biden/Obama also made vague claims, and were able to implement their policies for the most part. (I grant that student loan forgiveness didn't get implemented, although not for lack of trying.)
I think he's going to win a lot of these cases precisely BECAUSE of the vague wordings, but you're 100% on the money that the courts suddenly feel a need to try to block everything. (Running out the clock)
In the "Protest Fascist" poster, it listed a phone number for SMS text and an email address. Perhaps someone can start with those 2 communication channels to see if the violent disruptions were pre-planned.
I bet there is a lot of interesting communication in these 2 channels. We may even find out who organized some of the worst violent events in the city in the past few years.
The political majority here (metro Puget Sound) seems to be so self-righteous, so deaf to the damage they are doing, that they will never be convinced any of their opinions or actions are wrong.
It's about 20 people a week dying from drugs in King County. And none of them can plead ignorance, because you see stupefied people, clearly on drugs, in so many business/shopping districts. In a way it's worse than the covid policies.
Wait - at least 1040 people a year dying from drug use in a single county?
And I'm guessing the ranks of drug users are refilled faster than they die off too?
We had 473 deaths from drug abuse for the entire nation for 2023 (just looked it up to make sure) which was down 50 deaths from 2022.
Excuse the profanity but what the merry fuck are the people responsible doing? Are they busy sticking their thumbs up each others asses and comparing taste and smell?
And yes, you constantly hear that the county's policies act as a funnel/magnet drawing in people from across the country to come for the free "aid" and eventually die.
There's nothing I can say that wouldn't sound as if I was hyperbolic and diminishing the atrocity in the same sentence, but over 1 000/year is 10 000 in ten years.
For one county. The CDC estimates it to 75 000 people nationwide, for 2024. 7 500 000 in ten years assuming constant numbers. That's in the region of twenty times the number of Americans who died in WW2.
I know I'm letting it get to me needlessly, but it (people dying from drug abuse) is personal to me and the callousness behind the well-meaning words and smiles of officials everywhere incenses me to no end.
When we've had needle-projects, it's always been that the druggie could come to a sort-of nursing station and use clean gear, but all those projects fell apart for the usual reasons.
The one time they tried just handing out needles, well you know how that one goes.
Thankfully, Fentanyl is still exceptonally rare here. Tramadol is much more of a problem, as is cocaine in all its forms (the price of cocaine is so low now it's losing status as the jet-set drug du jour!).
When it comes to our problems with handling drug abuse, I can actually date one of the starting points: 1995. The year when it becamse possible to become an executive-level clerk/civil servant in the Social Services without at least a decade or three of street-level field-work. Before 1995, every decision-maker in the subfield of handling druggies in the SS had been a street-level case-worker for at least twenty years before even being considered for promotion.
From 1995, the SS became top-heavy with proto-AWFLs with ideals and visions but zero practical experience except in following procedure and orders.
Having lost half a dozen friends to drugs in my late teens, I'm very emotionally invested and biased on the topic of course.
If they want to throw urine filled water balloons, I propose returning fire with one of those large, surgical tubing powered slingshots, and water balloons filled with liquified chicken shit. It should fit right in among Pantifa.
I think it's high time someone forms an ambush of these degenerates! I like your choice of ammo. Only, fill up about 20 super soakers. Or, for less biology, use colored fabric dyes? They aught to like that, since they're into coloring books, hair, etc.
Adams County is, of course, *correct* that it is a violation of Federal Law to *prohibit* cooperating with Federal law enforcement. They can say "we're not going to work with you" and that's perfectly legal. *Preventing* local law enforcement from working with Federal law enforcement is going to far. As I'm sure the worthless fucks in Washington would agree if it was Texas *forbidding* local law enforcement from working with the ATF.
Piss-balloons is them going easy on their opponents, though.
Ammonia or onion juice in squirt guns is one you can expect them to use sooner or later. As is petrol-filled balloons as well as ones filled with animal blood.
"The Anarchist's Cookbook" is virtually required reading for that bunch.

Which counties in WA were on the sanctuary jurisdictions list? That list is now a dead link (removed) on DHS site.
Wow that happened FAST!
It was 35 of the 39 counties, the only one I can remember that WASN'T on the list was Yakima county.
That's so weird that the list was removed. I wonder if DHS worried that the list would draw more illegals to those counties. Or if the issue was that some counties are claiming that they shouldn't be on that list.

Gee, I wonder why people don't want to be police officers in Seattle......
Mountain bikes as the new riot shields. Who knew.
Is this another Soros-funded “rent-a-riot”?
Tucker Carlson had a fascinating interview with Mike Benz recently.
Why do the police never pull the damn masks off these weak Antifa punks
It’s hilarious when they do as the punks try anything to cover their faces

Source? EU, the last 20 years.
PS: I will never not laugh at police on bicycles.
I can't think of many things more disturbing and disgusting than being hit by a urine bomb that was filled up by a tranny.
I read the trade court's ruling as well. The tariffs business is too much like covid: declare an emergency, and that authorizes you to do whatever you want.

In both cases, the wording is vague on purpose - so government can do whatever it wants to do.
Not government - Democrats and bureaucrats. Republicans must abide exactly by the interpretations of their enemies.
Trump is the one taking advantage of the vague wordings, though. From deportations to tariffs.
Trump makes claims based on the vague wordings, but gets stopped by injunctions. Biden/Obama also made vague claims, and were able to implement their policies for the most part. (I grant that student loan forgiveness didn't get implemented, although not for lack of trying.)

more tasers.. less using bikes to push back dikes.. etc.
It's a little hilarious to see Seattle police in shorts yielding bikes as if they were crowd control devices.
*Chubby* police in shorts.
I wonder how many bicycle mechanics the police department has to staff.
In the "Protest Fascist" poster, it listed a phone number for SMS text and an email address. Perhaps someone can start with those 2 communication channels to see if the violent disruptions were pre-planned.
I mean....I don't think even Antifa walks around with urine-filled water balloons all the time......
Which is weird because while the rest of the state is suffering for the idiocy, it's the local areas that are hurt most by their policies.
It's about 20 people a week dying from drugs in King County. And none of them can plead ignorance, because you see stupefied people, clearly on drugs, in so many business/shopping districts. In a way it's worse than the covid policies.

Yes. The county lets you keep track of it here: https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dph/health-safety/safety-injury-prevention/overdose-prevention-response/data-dashboards
And yes, you constantly hear that the county's policies act as a funnel/magnet drawing in people from across the country to come for the free "aid" and eventually die.

The county's population is about 2.3 million, so 1 thousand is about 1 in 2,300 dying each year.
*for now
They're busy spending money to pass out the needles and calling themselves good people for doing so.
When we've had needle-projects, it's always been that the druggie could come to a sort-of nursing station and use clean gear, but all those projects fell apart for the usual reasons.

20?? not enough
When I hear about Antifa, all I can think of is Arlo Guthrie's "Alice's Restaurant"... and jumping up and down chanting with the psychiatrist.
"Kill, kill, kill." Yep. That's antifa, all right, they, like "the elites," want us all dead.
If they want to throw urine filled water balloons, I propose returning fire with one of those large, surgical tubing powered slingshots, and water balloons filled with liquified chicken shit. It should fit right in among Pantifa.

Hahaha, that last video.
"The... Girls 400 meter..."
the booooing was epic
