I wrote this paper with Bhattacharya calling for the end of lockdowns and the emergency...back in the height of COVID when we were seeing that a lot of it was not defensible

Notice how the establishment swamp creatures are losing their minds over all the outsider nominations (RFK, Gabbard, etc), but they are all wetting their pants with enthusiasm for Marco Rubio. 🤔

Bhsttacharya is a great pick, partly because his stance on Covid lockdowns came from a professional and ethical standpoint, not a partisan one. His politics could mostly be described as center left. His qualifications are impeccable. He will be difficult to attack. I'm glad to see him in this role, instead of, for instance, Malone, who I also like but who is more polarizing.

That low level scratching sound is the RATS running for the scuppers. Going to be fun to watch, hope we're not distracted by Biden starting WW3 with Putin.

Of course, you realize that Biden is a mindless drone directed by the boss of the Democrat Party, Barack Obama. It might seem easy to compare him to mafia boss Vincent Gigante; but Biden is ACTUALLY out of his mind. Let's pray the nation can survive two more months with no leader in the White House.

He has to survive the honey pot from 20+ years ago that he looked sideways at and will now claim sexual assault happened. Big Pharma has already rolled this out on RFK Jr.

I'm very happy there are so many MORE things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

I believe in practicing gratitude always, but during Thanksgiving we always go around the table and say what we're grateful for… This one's gonna be good!

I'm also grateful that I don't have any crazy family drama… we lean a few different ways, but everybody saw the sense and came together this November.

My heart goes out to the families who are going to have difficulties.

So, while I'm as stoked as the rest here with these appointees, I need a civics review please. To get the final appointment, what does it take? 2/3 of the house and ditto of the senate?

And, has anyone done the math on how that could shake out?

I know my Texas peeps in DC have never done squat for natural health care, and I expect there are some deep pockets being poured into by Big Pharma who will drag their feet.

By no means will it be a slam dunk.

Yes. Harris was the 51st vote on a lot of nominations the past couple years. Also, a list of all the parts of the NIH: https://www.nih.gov/institutes-nih/list-institutes-centers

None of those directors have to be confirmed.

Here's what he said in July:

New on my Illusion of Consensus podcast, I debate with

@JosephFraiman

on his HOPE Accord, a public petition to restore ethics to public health and to pull regulatory authorization for the marketing of the covid mRNA vaccine.

I hesitated to sign because I was concerned that some patient groups may still benefit from it. Joe, very reasonably, asked me how we could know who falls into those categories. The answer, of course, would come from randomized clinical trial evidence with solid clinical endpoints like prevention of long covid, hospitalization, or death.

By the end of the debate, Joe had convinced me that not pulling the authorization makes it more likely that we will never get good clinical trial evidence testing to check whether such groups still exist in a setting of widespread recovered immunity.

Thanks to the debate, I now intend to sign the Accord. I appreciate Joe's willingness to help me think through the regulatory and policy matters.

I don't really think "long COVID" is necessarily a real thing. It's more likely, that it's a side effect of the vaccines. Due to the effects on the heart. I was diagnosed with heart failure in May 2020, and initially thought I might have repeated episodes of COVID. But, after January, February, March, April into May, I searched for other illnesses that caused shortness of breath, and guess what popped up? YEP. I never took the shots, but, had ignored my high Blood Pressure for years. The ole ticker was about worn out. Fortunately, the medication they put me on, from my 6 day stay in the hospital, gas worked effectively to put me back in the lower normal range for heart function. Big pharma may not have always been "EVIL" or just plain Greedy. Except that one of my meds is over $500 a month, thanks Novartis, those Slovenian's must really be making a good wage over there? 😳
