Normally it might not. But with cats? It’s the only thing that makes sense, if you’re a cat, that is!

The kitty lucha libre was hilarious. And I'm so happy for Farah!

You’re Good Enough, You’re Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like You! That comment didn't end up serving Al Franken very well. Of course, he said "people like me".

He ended up saying it both ways because they altered the original wording a little bit for the "self-help" book :)

SC - Thanks for chuckles with the Bonnie/Gangster switch-a-roo, they aren't missing any meals.

They are not! I'm getting a little worried about Bonnie, but she always has energy to dart around playing, so maybe she's just a growing girl.

It's Tuesday here now, but this thing happened yesterday, my time zone:

My student debt, what's left of it (220 000:-/$22 000) was waived.

As I'm retired on health reasons, I get the lowest tier pension which is about $1100/month, so you can easily see why this is positive.

And a negative that was still majorly positive considering alternatives:

Friday, my wife called me at 0700 telling me she was at the ER. Reason was, while driving to work at 06-- a deer had jumped up from the ditch and in front of the car while she was doing 55mph (speed limit on most major roads) so she had had to swerve and steer into the swerve and when she finally stopped she noticed a pain in the back so she drove to the ER immediately.

Turned out, all that had happened was she'd strained the rights side of her back (Latissimus dorsi).

(And the car's fine too, a coin-sized dent in the cow-catcher was all. The deer too was fine, by the way.)

Thx SC. Happy Monday!

I am Charlie Brown waiting for Lucy to pull the football out from my kick... RFK jr removing ACIP members made me feel woozy with hope that the football would be positioned properly as i plant my foot and draw back to strike... Urgently, perenially, and permanently anxious for health of pregnant women and babies.

Loved the Libertarian's side eye. Loved the adoption. Loved the tap dancing baby flamingo: Gene Kelly's got Singing in the Rain but Pinkie's got Puddle Love.

In my real good news, after 27 hrs (that's a long time waiting!!) my homemade sourdough loaf has risen properly to bake. Too bad it's 11p and i am too tired to preheat and bake it tonight.

Timing is everything. Ask Witt.

Thanks, SC. This was so nice, especially at the end of the day. My golden (as the last dog) is older (he was a gift and cost more in medical bills that it would have cost to purchase him... an acl surgery, cryosurgery on his eyelids AND a tooth removal because he is so alpha and broke it...)and mahogany but so precious as he thinks that I can still pick him up in one hand (well, he was 3 pounds and had just opened his eyes)... I visited 2x and left my signature perfume on a washcloth. 6 years later and within 10 pounds of me, he is just a snuggle-bug. The adopted one is still afraid at anything sudden and she is 5. wow, some ptsd. The kitty conversations were so clever and I would love to put bubbles over their little round heads but nombusiness. Blessings! More joy in my life today because of you.

Most of you will like this:

I'll believe it when I see it in action. So far, it's been hugely underwhelming. All Covid vaxxes (at very least) should have been recommended stopped, but they're still trying to make sure and kill off old folks as well as others.

And those are realistically the only people even slightly interested in continuing to take the shots, because they're "free" through government programs.

Love the bottom posting with the bowls. It is so funny how they will get certain ideas in their minds. Mine will scream for food when the dry food dish is still half full. I have to add another scoop and mix it up to get them eating it again.

It's not horrible until they start freaking out at 3 AM over it....
