Thanks for, once again, doing the dirty work of watching this so some of us didn't have to.
I'm really disappointed in our elected officials here, in how they care nothing for the meme community. If they have just asked 5 or 6 less questions, we could have had the amazing meme of "I plead the hundred and fifth!"
It does tell us something that one of the most fanatical national socialist war criminals had more of a sense of duty and honour, than most of our current elected officials and their appointed proxies throughout the various civil services and such.
One of the most glaring truths about Covid must be emphasized more frequently.
Covid was how the government sector could kill the private sector while millions of public employees took weeks and months off from work, pretended to “stay busy” at home, and received full pay and benefits for doing virtually nothing (even if some benefits were delayed) while the rest of the nation and the world—the productive, private working class sector—were abused, threatened and harmed greatly.
COVID was phony class warfare, lies and deceit—-by your own elected and appointed government, the do-nothings, the takers, the users, the leaches who assure through their fat public benefits that we can’t pay our national debt and can barely even pave a few roads.
COVID was a ruse, a scam and a fraud. The real problem—same as always. Big bloated government and public spending massively out of control.
(And don’t for a moment believe that many illegal immigrants care in the least)
> I think the chance Fauci faces criminal action is very low, but if America can (finally) see that “Saint Fauci” was a lying charlatan this whole time, I’ll sleep a little better tonight.
But none of this Performative Kayfabe (is that redundant?) is going to bring back my loved ones who were pressured or manipulated into stabs (like elders with Kaiser Permanente who were threatened with being barred from future treatments for chronic issues [prob caused by Kaiser's treatment algos] if they didn't take the stabs). Or the ones who had to leave their jobs, and start over, and the pressure wrecked them. Or the ones who went through wringers, trying to wake up others, and collapsed from exhaustion or grief when those they loved stabbed up anyway and got sick or died.
Etc.
And it's not going to restore all that has been lost. Trust between neighbors. Small businesses. People's sense of being able to trust their "health" "care" "providers."
I figure Fauci's getting paid to take the fall. Professional scapegoat.
Now, everybody, time to fret about Muslims, just in time for the 25th anniversary of a cube of kerosene 14 feet on each side somehow having the Btus to melt a building of 42 million cubic feet and weight of half a million tons.
The silver lining here is that all those you mentioned, that survived, and all those in their circles, now have far less trust in institutions that have zero deservedness of said trust.
So glad you gave the play-by-play because it was exactly as I suspected but I’m still glad it’s going on. I’m hoping it red pills folks who have been on the sidelines.
Senators Hawley and Moody, despite obvious political bias, were very effective. Hawley made Fauci take the fifth when asked what color tie Fauci was wearing.
I continue to remain impressed by Senator Fetterman. He alone seemed genuinely distressed about how things had been going during the pandemic, without trying to make any political points.
It was too bad he doesn't understand WHY that issue became political in the first place -- Fauci was getting attacked by Rand Paul and ran to the Democrats for cover.
You are correct, I didn't parse that correctly. I said "squirm" but failed to put it in the context I meant...an old time Royal Navy hanging or modern stoning in Afghanistan.
He enjoyed Trump's backing all the way.
Yep. One of many mistakes.

Heinrich Himmler at Nürnberg, if American law had been applied there:
" Mr Himmler, did you order the extermination of the following groups of people, as per these documents with your signature on them?"
"Ich berufe mich auf das fünfte"
"Okay Mr Himmler, you are free to go"
"Danke"
Nah. No court would ever be so political to let a mass-murderer-by-proxy off the hook, just for partisan reasons. Surely not.
At least he had the good sense to off himself.
Jah.

And it's something good.
Fauci accused Sen. Paul of having an “unhinged obsession” with him. Maybe next he will say Paul wants to “date” him, à la AOC.
Exactly. Too bad AOC is already in a thruple with Omar and Massie.
LOL, love your posts.

Good name…
Now and then I manage to come up with something clever.
Sim Commander, OH HECK YA!! You are the Commander, remember?? The not-so-good Dr is “ little man complex”, par excellance!

This is for everyone who cared about the Missouri v. Biden lawsuit: https://newcivillibertiesalliance.substack.com/p/fauci-diaries-and-deposition/
Dr Shitweasel. Best description ever.
He sure lived up to his name today.

Glad to help!
My patriotic right wing golf buddy proved himself spot on today!!!

Maybe he does understand, but considered it irrelevant.
He just spoke about struggling with how to deal with pandemic policy as lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania.
Huge disappointment. They never made him squirm.
He was shaking like a leaf during his opening statement, the only time he actually said anything.
You are correct, I didn't parse that correctly. I said "squirm" but failed to put it in the context I meant...an old time Royal Navy hanging or modern stoning in Afghanistan.
Drawn and quartered would be a more appropriate punishment, imo.
Probably shaking with righteous indignation rather than shame or remorse.
It wasn't shame or remorse, it was fear.
(I know because that's exactly how I look when I have to speak in public.)
This is from Fauci's diaries. The belief that he's being persecuted isn't new:
March 24, 2014 - Visited Bob Barnett at his office at Williams & Connelly at 725- 12th
Street, N.W. to discuss my proposed memoirs. He said that I could not write it and
publish it while still a government worker. Even if the General Counsel of HHS gave
me permission, he would not recommend my doing it since the appearance would trigger
my "enemies" to come after me. I am such a public figure, that I almost certainly have
"enemies".
He does now.
