I think we are on the way to this administration beating Covid… at least that is what they will soon claim. All the testing and case counting changes will make it easier to declare success.
Thank you for pointing out the 29% of covid hospitalizations figure. The link also shows that those with immune suppression problems are less than 11% of adult hospitalizations, and 5% of pediatric hospitalizations, which is less than most of the other listed preconditions.
But we're supposed to embrace masking for the rest of our lives to protect the immuno-suppressed?
Fauci uses "the science is changing" as an effective defense, as if antigenic drift (known since the 1940s) were unanticipated. News people don't pin him down. In his adversarial interview, why didn't Hewitt mention Fauci's monumental conflict-of-interest due to Wuhan funding? Why didn't he play back a clip with Fauci's "dead end to the virus" nonsense?
My favorite part of 'the science is changing' is the way they attack you for daring to question the ever-changing science.
Once Fauci says something, the science is settled. And if it changes later, again and again, that's no reason to be questioning the science in the first place.
Hey, come now--Walensky assured us back in July, when not a single woman could have completed a full pregnancy with/after a COVID shot, that it was totally safe for pregnant women to go get those shots. Clearly, it's all those women who are now in the hospital, with child and with COVID...
