The Finishing Touch
A Gangster & Bonnie Video
I was hoping to get footage like this last night to include in today’s B&G update, but better late than never!
And while I’m here, I might as well do some housecleaning and mention that I’ve activated (finally) the “notes” tab on the Screaming into the Void homepage, and that’s where I will “re-stack” interesting articles that I come across from other writers on the platform. I disliked “cross-post” because many of you already subscribe to the person I’d be cross-posting, resulting in duplicate emails. In addition, it was difficult to know if my readers would even be able to interact on the “target” Stack. (This remains true, sadly, but I feel like sending a full email is different than posting something as a note. And if it comes down to it, we can discuss the post inside the re-stack itself.)
The full URL is https://simulationcommander.substack.com/notes. Hope you enjoy the feature!

Such nice kitties - you're sure going to miss all of them! So will I. So please keep us up to date if possible! Bonnie looks a lot like my Chloe, who looks about 9-10 mos. old but will be 17 in August. She's my avatar photo. Persephone is about 12. If I can dig up good photos, I'll put them on my stack.
My favorite cousins live in Seattle & Kirkland. They love the weather but dislike the same things the rest of us do about Washington. I haven't been up there since '98. K and her husband have been here for Balloon Fiesta several times.
Substack has rolled out so many bells and whistles that I avoid most of them. I just like to rant periodically but I'm not really much of a blogger. There are some great people on here and that's more important to me than being able to warp the ship out of orbit at the least provocation!
Good travels and will be waiting for your next news!
If you're driving, be sure to gas up before entering WA state. You probably heard that Inslee signed off on a carbon cap scheme that has resulted in oil/gas companies passing on a 30+cent/gallon price increase. This will definitely help all the poor people that the one-party state claims to care so much about.
