Edit 3:13 PM: The public version of the Mar-a-Lago raid has been released, and — surprise — it’s so heavily redacted that it’s worthless. This won’t stop the ‘press’ from talking about it anyway. My opinion: this certainly doesn’t make the FBI look any better. Didn’t they always say ‘If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear?’

Norton put a red "Suspicious Link" warning on the link to this page that I had emailed to myself.

The FBI did not cost Hillary Clinton the election. Hillary cost Hillary the election. Everyone already knew about the emails, so the last minute Comey move (which I never really understood--maybe someone can explain it in a way that makes sense) didn't cost her anything.

Regarding Hunter Biden's laptop, the FBI knew it was authentic and they had possession of it since 2019. They deliberately did this to get Joe Biden in the White House because if they had stayed silent or authenticated it, the election most likely would have swung the other way given the close margin in "purple" states (or, alternatively for the cynical among us, the election would not have been close enough to throw with a little well-placed fraud).

The problem with the FBI is none of this sounds sincere as, as you point out, they were quite willing to sabotage Trump's entire presidency and attempt to cost him the first election with the whole "Russia collusion" thing.

In sum, the FBI is not salvageable. This is a repeat offense for them showing no matter how much you try to "reform" the FBI it won't ever stick. The lower level agents need to be sent elsewhere in government while the "leaders" are kicked out of their positions and lose any claim they have to pensions. (It won't happen, but I can dream.)

So the guy that donated $500 million to shore up the vote reluctantly helped Biden? Definitely nothing to see here.

So, substack email links aren’t working now. Clicking on comment in my email took me to a technical error page, when it’s really that it looks like they changed some URL around (not just this substack, all the ones I’ve clicked on today).

Not thinking you can do anything about this Commander, but just giving you a heads up.

Point of order or whatever it's called when a besserwisser just have to pipe up:

"...their actions only ever made sense if they were being prodded by the government."

I get what you're after, but would like to add that their actions also makes perfect sense if they are the ones prodding governement. Tit-for-tat, backscratching-policy sort of kind of thing. While governement is at least nominally under some checks and balances, private media companies such as the HPL-lookalike in the clip are under no such obligations apart from keeping their profit-making methods an Ångström on the side of technically legal.

Facebook want to play political favourites before an election? All up to them. Someone with enough resources virtually monopolising media via HR staff making sure everybody is "on message"? That's the free market in action. And state media is no alternative - it's even worse since you can't get out of paying for it, as it's tax funded.

Where's the point I was trying to make? Oh, yes! That it in all likelyhood is a co-joined venture, with "the best intentions" of curbing hate speech, radicalisation and so on (apply " around any term as needed), meaning a two-way barbed hook regulatory/market capture.

Didn't old J Edgar Hoover use to play this game from the inception of the FBI?

Many rino's still see no issue with the FBI raid of a past predidents home at the urging of the government librarian. Scary stuff.

Somehow I can see the NSA saying you can't look at that Chinese spy honeypot's laptop because she was fucking Eric Swallowell and we don't want to get involved in politics even if the laptop has the Chinese Strategic First Strike Plans/Timetable and Launch Codes on it!

Not sure where you live but if you live in the US you should try and get on Tim Pool’s IRL show. I think it would be interesting to have you on.

Rules for thee, not for we.

THEY have already moved past the Constitution. Let's not kid ourselves. To them, the Constitution is like a menu that other people look at while they talk directly to the kitchen and tell them what they want, even if it's not on the menu.

Road to hell had the tarmac laid down in W's administration.

You know that moment when you start to realize everything has been lost already? Bush Sr.'s funeral. Both sides of the aisle huggin' an' kissin' and recognizing the brotherhood, all together. I'm amazed I didn't permanently ruin my nice carpets with some explosionary excretory functioning from every orifice.

There is a new discovery of our freedoms being usurped every day. It is so incredibly deflating because it keeps coming at us as fast as it can. The worse part is that the FBI has had a heavy hand in everything.

When we have a change in the House and hopefully in the Senate, FBI DIRECTOR SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO GO. Having said that, I want a pound of flesh. I want people like Wray raked over the coals.

Trump still won. Only is not still President due to widespread voter/election fraud and the courts and state legislatures ignoring it.

Doesn't this sound like a quintessential "limited hangout"? The obvious conclusion is that facebook was doing A LOT MORE.

PRESIDENT: You think, you think we want to, want to go this route now? And the – let it hang out, so to speak?

DEAN: Well, it's, it isn't really that –

HALDEMAN: It's a limited hang out.

DEAN: It's a limited hang out.

EHRLICHMAN: It's a modified limited hang out.

PRESIDENT: Well, it's only the questions of the thing hanging out publicly or privately.
