Trump's trial verdict looms over the nation
It seems like everybody in America is waiting for the verdict in Donald Trump’s “hush money” case. No matter which way it goes, the verdict is sure to shape the upcoming election — which was the entire point of filing these charges (and others) in the first place.
And while the case has seen a number of……peculiar twists, perhaps none are as big as Judge Merchan’s final instructions to the jury. Reading the transcript regarding the formation of those instructions, it sure looks like Merchan is (continuing to) lean on the scale.
Everybody knows that old saying — when the law is on your side, OBJECTION YOUR HONOR!
This is the major problem with conducting show trials in the United States — you have to apply twisted logic to even arrive at the point where the trial is necessary in the first place:
It doesn’t matter if the jury can’t even decide on an underlying crime — even Trump giving them “the ick” is good enough!
You might think former FBI general counsel might be wary about stretching the law to its breaking point, but then again, you probably don’t watch MSNBC. If you did, you wouldn’t be surprised at this:
And while the mainstream media is basking in the glow of a few more days of TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP coverage, the Biden campaign is reeling from the (hilarious) setback of sending Robert De Niro to the courthouse. Even Morning Joe had to admit the stunt reeked of politics — which is a problem because Joe Biden has vehemently denied being behind Trump’s prosecution.
No worries, just bring on Michael Tyler to explain that the Biden campaign simply sent people to where the cameras were! Since nobody shows up to Biden rallies, the president is FORCED to seek out the press wherever they are so people know about black voters for Biden! How else could the President of the United States POSSIBLY get his voice heard?
And how does Biden court black voters? The same way he courts other voters — by lying to their faces.
QUICK! Bring Biden up on charges of election interference! Surely we can find (or make up) a crime, connect it to another crime, and connect that to election interference! 319 years in jail for Biden!
Jokes aside, the jury in the Trump case has been dismissed for the day, so we won’t get a ruling until tomorrow at the earliest. Looks like it’s another day in limbo for Americans.
Before I sign off for the day, I want to bring up a topic that I absolutely hate discussing. As I mentioned last time I did this (in October), as a former small business owner I absolutely understand that marketing is an important part of financial success. However, I’ve always been one to “let my game” do the talking — which means not bugging readers about signing up for paid subscriptions every other week (or paywalling articles and restricting comments).

The entire “election interference” is nonsense. Candidates are supposed to influence elections and voters. It’s how they get elected unless maybe you’re Biden and too brain dead to string together a coherent thought. Then your surrogates “influence” the election.
