I give the police a lot of crap (mostly because of the laws they enforce), but Hillsborough County deputy Daniel "Red" Jones is an exception. Late last month the deputy was working near Highway 60 when was flagged down by a VERY pregnant Lexela Nolasco.

Undaunted by the unforeseen challenge, Jones helped deliver a healthy baby girl right on the roadside! Last Friday, the pair were reunited, to the delight of “Red” and everybody else on the internet.

"No, her name is NOT Red, but ‘Little Red’ is a cool nickname! What do y’all think?!" Jones asked
