Showing or Selling Fake Covid-19 Vaccine Cards Could Become a Crime in Washington
Stupid edicts create stupid enforcement
No matter how badly all the covid measures fail, ‘leaders’ in Washington state continue to double down. From KUOW:
It’s a crime for kids to use a fake ID to try to buy alcohol. Soon, it could also be a crime in Washington for anyone to show a fake Covid-19 vaccination card to get into a bar, restaurant or other venue that requires proof of vaccination.
The proposal, which has five other Senate Democratic co-sponsors, would also make it a class C felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine to sell or transfer false Covid-19 vaccine cards.
“We’re talking about people who are intentionally committing an act of dishonesty,” Salomon said.
I wonder how the punishment for using a fake ID, or a fake SS# to work on the farms abundant in the state, compare to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine?

Gov. Jay Inslee today announced the creation of two funds to help workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Immigrant Relief Fund will provide $40 million to assist Washington residents who are unable to access federal stimulus programs due to their immigration status, and the Food Production Paid Leave Program will provide $3 million of financial resources to certain food production workers who remain home when ill.
“We have to ensure that no one in our state is left behind as we fight this pandemic,” Inslee said. “COVID-19 doesn’t care what your immigration status is. We must support every family affected by the virus, especially those who lack the necessary means to quarantine or isolate and prevent further spread. This is the right thing for the well-being of individuals, the health of their colleagues and the safety of our communities.”
Quite the disparity, isn’t it? I wonder what could possibly be the difference………
Hmmm.... and yet Washington state recently passed a law tying cops' hands so they can't force to stop a fleeing suspect from escaping if "probable cause" is absent. I wonder if one could just claim there's no probable cause as one runs away... it seems if there's not a trail of fake vac cards that the suspect leaves behind, how can he/she be arrested and charged?
This coming from a politico is classic:
"We’re talking about people who are intentionally committing an act of dishonesty,”
The whole way the covid thing has been handled is an intentional act of dishonesty.
