I think the way to deal with MSM around their current laptop stories is to mockingly say: So now the NYT (or WP or whichever) is buying into Russian disinformation and this is at a time when Putin has stepped up disinfo. It's a shame that the NYT (or WP or whichever) is believing Russian disinfo over our own Intel professionals, 51 of whom signed a letter in October 2020 saying that this whole laptop story had indications of Russian disinfo.
Fauci states there of course are unintended negative consequences to lockdown restrictions. None of this strikes me as unintended when governments act nonsensically in unison.
And, as always, I don't know anyone over the last two years that has said someone *can't* wear the diaper on their face. If someone thinks it helps them, more power to them. The lie has been that someone else wearing a mask somehow magically stops them from "infecting" someone else. The amazing thing to me is that those who are so mind-effed into thinking that a mask is going to save humanity can't look and see that even with everyone wearing the damn things people *still got sick*! If they really worked to stop viruses there wouldn't have been anyone on earth getting sick because practically the entire world was masked up. The insanity of this is going to take a long time to get over (if ever). As for me and my house... we don't and *won't* wear them. Ever. The mask nazis will have to literally tackle us to the ground and force one on us. We *refuse* to support any business or organization that requires them and we are still alive. Yeah, we had to go without some things and had to rethink the way we do some things, but we made it without *ever* wearing a mask. This issue is a hot button for me. As someone who has had extensive training on mask usage and has worn them for over 30 years for *the right reason* my blood boils when people who are only serving to "virtue signal" about how much they "care for their neighbor" (which is a flat out lie... they care about their own irrational fear. They could give a damn about anyone else in reality) mandates that we do something that absolutely doesn't work to "protect" them from their own ignorance and fear. I've had it.
COVID hysteria gives some people purpose. That's the only conclusion I can come to with the masks and vaccines.
But the Biden thing is much more interesting. It's clear that that someone has decided Biden needs to go. I agree with Pawsative below. The media weren't played. They were complicit, puppets on a string, and now they've been given new instructions on how to dance. But I don't what the puppeteer's game plan is. Let's going through the first seven people in line after Biden to run the country: Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Patrick Leahy, Anthony Blinken, Janet Yellen, Lloyd Austin, and Merrick Garland. Without exception (okay, maybe Patrick Leahy because he's not really front and center in the media), these people are all disliked even more intensely than Joe Biden. It's insane.

I still have to wear a KN95 frequently because I work at a hospital, and all the politicians and "experts" are still pretending that we're somehow keeping patients safer that way. Anywhere else, it's been months since I've worn a mask. I just live life like normal and thumb my nose at Dear Leader Insanelee. If he tries to bring back mask mandates for any public settings, I have my plague doctor mask ready and waiting.
The only good that will come from the mass mask psychosis, is we will know who is and who isn't rational. Public and private shunning of the mask Karyns may be our last chance at nonviolent resistance against the insane asylum running and ruining our societies.
