New York to Change Covid Hospitalization Counting

Now that it's politically beneficial, the 'leaders' are doing what we suggested long ago

Once again parroting what Team Reality has been screaming from the rooftops for over a year, New York governor Kathy Hochul has determined it’s important to note the distinction between people being hospitalized FOR covid as opposed to WITH covid.

Starting Tuesday, Gov. Hochul will ask hospitals to report whether a patient is in the hospital for COVID-19 or if they tested positive for COVID-19 while being treated for another ailment.

“Someone is in a car accident they go to the emergency room they test positive for COVID while they're there, they're not they're being treated for COVID… Now someone's condition can worsen while they're in the hospital, I'm not saying that won't happen but I've just been doing a random call around to some of the hospital leaders that I touch base with and I'm seeing numbers from 20% to sometimes 50%.  We don't have clear data right now, that's anecdotal,” the governor explained.

It’s a good time (always) to point out that the reason they don’t have clear data is because they didn’t WANT clear data. They wanted to pump up the fear, and that means counting incidental covid hospitalizations the same as FOR covid hospitalizations. Now that they are responsible politically, it’s necessary to admit the things that we’ve been screaming the whole time.

But it wasn’t an oversight this data isn’t available. It was an intentional decision by the same entity that killed their own citizens by throwing covid patients into nursing homes, exposing all the at-risk at once. (Then they bragged about how well they did it all during the summer of 2020, taking credit for spring and summer!) Don’t let them get away with this sleight-of-hand maneuver.
