Yes. On Monday, my girl Aspen that is G's twin batted my daughters lure while she was taking a fish off and got it caught in her paw. She broke the line and took off. Harrowing couple of hours.
YIKES! Reminds me of the time that my old kitty somehow got her tail stuck in my shoelaces. She freaked out and started running........and the shoe loudly followed behind her, increasing the freakout but also increasing the shoe's bounciness..........
I am days behind on my reading. Just read this and praying he is home soon! It is always hard to let them out to be cats when they carry our hearts around with them!
To add to those, our beloved gingie disappeared a while back. We eventually found the silly billy stuck in a neighbourhood garage! He had been poking around and gotten locked in after they went away for the weekend....
Sending good vibes. In case it is helpful, when one of our cats went missing, we got a cat trap and put one of his toys and one of my husband's t-shirts in it. After five days, he made his way into the trap. Before that we caught two other cats and a possum. One of the cats was a sweet kitten who was happy to take a treat and be let out. The other one looked at us like we were the biggest assholes that ever lived, even more so than the possum.
You've lost El Gato Malo (Gangster) and want him back for your editing, and to help sustain your lifestyle with your "side hustle". (wink)
I do hope he comes back. It might be one of those superhero things, you know? Has to vanquish evil before coming back for familial appearances. You know, kinda like... Mr. Incredible!

No sign last night, although Bonnie did come into the house for a couple minutes! She's getting much more bold.
