I found the fire video far too upsetting for a fun compilation like this. Maybe it’s a similar life experience I’ve had, or maybe it’s just that I’m not totally heartless, but I wish you would’ve provided a warning that that was a different sort of thing than the rest of the videos and memes.
On the other hand, the mansplaining meme had me literally lol-ing, so thanks for that.
Great great post! Made me laugh with the cat video with the pup. Looks sort of like my house with 3 cats and a 10 month old papillon puppy who is smaller than all the cats. She definitely can't read the room. I love that kindness test, it restores my faith in humanity, which has been seriously shaken recently.
My 30yo stepdaughter is working part time at Target stocking shelves (or wandering around pretending to work, hard to tell the difference) while attending an elite art school ($$$$$) in Savanah, Georgia.
Did I mention she now has tattooed stars on her FACE?!? Along with the psychiatric discharge from the Navy, she's nearly unemployable.
and my favorite of all time, the nest is just prepared this week end for baby blue birdies coming soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyGg3IONcLM This guy's youtube channel is amazing. Watch the last brood videos from last Summer. The last brood was comically hilarious. One baby gets out, freaks out, and climbs back into the next. This bird box is in Virginia Beach
I did not like that TikTok video. This drafting of ordinary people into the feel-good theatrics of social media morons is a trend requiring a big boot from outer space to squash these ants flat. It's wrong. The destruction of privacy for even the most minor errands of life is shameful.
I grew up watching "Queen for a Day," and even as a little kid I knew there was something disturbing about taking people's desperation and turning it into a circus for claps.
And--who knows for what reason any random person might not want to find themselves splashed across the internet? Ever wanted somebody not to find you--not necessarily because you were an escaped bank robber, or something, but perhaps because of a dreadfully painful estrangement? Who knows who the random accostee is?
Just shitty. Yeah, he and his kid were lucky here I guess. I ain't impressed anyway.
edit: Yes, I know this guy wasn't desperately wanting anything. But he had still recently endured a terrifying ordeal, and now his kid blurted that out to the world. A man isn't a lost kitten to be "aaahed" over.
I assume that these people give permission before the actual video goes out. This is how it works in the 'regular' media. People who don't want to be splashed across the internet hopefully aren't being splashed out across the internet........
And if we're talking about cops "pulling people over" for good driving and giving them goodies, I'm 100% in agreement.
Yes, I'm sure the bigger TikTokers get some legal counsel for their stunts.
A friend of mine, she ended up being the butt of a nasty anecdote in some well-known "wisdom of the common man" sort of idiot's book because he happened to be there, in a cafe, when she found to her horror that she had no money to leave a decent tip and was only able to put something like 10 pence on the table. (She's one of the most generous human beings on the planet in every way a person can be, and she was embarrassed enough in the moment, not even knowing this schmuck was gonna chronicle the supposed wretchedness of people supposedly like herself.)
That poor dog!! 😅🤣🤣

At least she isn't selling fries.
Top quality and thanks for the shout-out mate. 🍻
My favorite mansplaining one is still this:

I believe you are correct.
I mean... if you need to knock someone who is on fire over, I suppose a bicycle might work but why was there a random dude on fire?
It was a protest at Berkeley filmed by the parent of a prospective new student.
Edit: maybe not a protest, maybe just a crazy person?
Story: https://nypost.com/2023/03/02/man-sets-himself-on-fire-on-uc-berkeley-campus/
It's Berkeley. It's Killifornia. Don't people do this all the time there? To themselves or others.
I'm sorry, I just assumed that inferno's gender.
I assumed it was a man because women don't do that.
Precisely.
There are many things that women are not stupid enough to do.
Pretty sure I posted one of them in this thread............
That was uncouth of me.
...
But you know it was totally a dude that was on fire.
I understand.
okay then
Ohhhh that last video made me sob. Wow.
I need to watch all of these again. Happy Monday.
Life is good I am blessed
Darn those onions.
If you don’t name your onions or develop an attachment to them, you don’t cry as much when you cut them up.
Wonderful and wacky selection! Good times. Good curating!
you totally compensated for the mansplaining one with the kid+dad+kindness vid. Way to go!
NPC non sexquitur:
Please do not jump to conclusions based on a 14 second performance.
I have been given instructions to repeat after this brief "hold".
Only 50%?
It's only Monday.........
Awwwww....* swats SC* the onions,man!
Tears from the last video
