I. Just. Can't. (see animals hurt).

But I watched the cat video twice....and Ayn Rand was spectacular.

We have no right to vote to pick another persons pocket.

We needed representatives to say no.

Well,I went a bit crazy last week. A friend found she couldn't take care of these two, so I took them in. The short hair girl is Cedar, the long hair boy, Sage. They are about 8 weeks old. https://ibb.co/3szL00j

The first two are absolute brats on laundry day, they are trying to keep me from taking the items from under them. In front is Alexander, in back is Professor Longhair (aka Rumblebear). They are only 8 months, yes they are huge boys...

https://ibb.co/wp9Lyrg

We had the cutest moment on Friday. Sage is very sweet and does not hiss. He approached Alexander at the food bowl and gave him a kitty kiss and a friendly head bop. Alexander was so taken aback. I have never seen a cat look so confused. He kind of half-heartedly hissed at Sage, I think because he thought it was expected of him, LOL!

Gonna stay warm this winter for sure!

Maybe its a 'kids don't try this at home' kinda thing. One of my earliest baby pics shows me in the crib with my first kitten. We actually did have four at our place for a few years up until last year and they all slept on the bed at the same time only on the coldest nights and then it was OK.

You learn to keep out of their way...

Well, my friend is older and poorly and very fussy about her place; I don't think she is up to dealing with stuff like the cat box. I live on a farm, so once these guys get big enough to suss out the cat door, there won't be any box to clean, LOL. There's plenty of barns to roam and rodents to stalk here so I don't think they will be too badly off and I have to buy cat food in 50 pound bags anyway from the farm store because the dog won't eat anything else. I also know a country vet that does a cheap spay/neuter so there's that.

But as I told my friends, if I get any more, please shoot me. I'll have enough going as it is with my 'cat lady starter pack'.

Regime-media in the US picking up the "Ukraine blew up Nordstream"-thread is a positive thing, I guess. A year late, a couple of tens of billions of dollars short, but I guess that's their level of integrity down at the WaPo.

The fallout in Germany will be migh-ty in-terr-est-ing to follow, I tell you that for nothing.

Chris Bray over at his Stack is digging into the fire under the freeway, the man even dug up some of the regs for storing cargo pallets when I asked him about it - how about that! Figured I name-drop him here as way of thanks even if'n I'm sure most people here already knows about him.

Pawsitive stuff - the wife discovered our youngest dog can extend her body-length something fierce. The wife woke up from stabbing pains in her calf, to find the dog standing with the forepaws on the windowsill in the bedroom, and the claws of the hindpaws digging into the calf for purchase. It's a full four feet between the bed and the window, so the dog looked like it was doing some yoga-stuff.

What it was doing was trying to murderdeathkill-stare a deer munching on stuff from the compost heap.

Other positive thing is a neighbours kid is out of hospital after being mauled by a bear in September will out hunting small game. His dog riled the bear, the bear followed the dog to him, he got a shot in as the bear attacked but it tore him something fierce before running off and dropping dead half a mile away. The kid is only 19 and is still an invalid from injuries, but is making good recovery, and the police have dropped all charges (even when there's no suspicion of foul play, police must investigate all such events - regulations) and have cleared the kid of any suspicion of wrong-doing.

That boy is a sure winner of every "who's got the coolest scars"-drunken comparison competition!

It's possible that somebody in the CIA changed his name to "Ukraine" so that technically they are telling the truth.

But Ukraine the country did not pull this off -- and if they did, it's an act of war against Germany. (We don't like to talk about what it means if WE did it.)

With US backing or at least tacit approval, yes.

Means and motive checks out. The method is nothing special, any one trained in demolitions and diving could have done it, so method tells us nothing and explosives are real easy to come by in any european nation. Especially Sweden, who wants to get into NATO and whose Special Prosecutor investigating has refused to share data with other nations, while the US has refused and blocked attempts to set up an international UN-led investigation.

Honestly? Fuck that. Meanwhile, the US continue to strong-arm nations to boycott whomever the US says must be boycotted (like Cuba).

Ayn Rand predicted what we see today, more than 60 years ago. She even made the head of the State Science Institute a prime villain responsible for the collapse of society.

Her protégée, Leonard Peikoff, wrote a 1982 book, The Ominous Parallels, showing how American philosophy was eerily similar to the Nazis. Seemed crazy at the time...

Happy Mondeeeee

My hubby makes me happy every day. without him, I would be a nut case. Family gathering on Friday morning for a memorial service at the chapel in daddys neighborhood. I do not want to be sobbing. I have lost so much trust in my family, my younger daughters husband is a huge ass hole.

My sister is psycho but I do love her. My older daughter, well, both of my daughters speak to ME like I am 6 years old. I can not tolerate that.

Happy? I have been sewing a lot, making pretty stuff. That makes me happy.

We never watch the news.
