From the Washington Times: Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19, according to a new analysis by researchers at Johns Hopkins University. The lockdowns during the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 reduced COVID-19 mortality by about 0.2%, said the broad review of multiple scientific studies.

Yep. As soon as the State of the Union was moved to March 1, I knew Biden wanted to be able to declare victory over covid (and take credit for spring like the vaccines did last year).
The only question is -- will big pharma and the media they bought actually let it end? Or will this be the thing that turns the media against Biden?
And will the blue states let it end? These state-level despots have enjoyed a previously unparalleled level of power, and they find it intoxicating. The "covid Karens" have found the same thing, along with a sense of community for which they have longed but not previously attained. Now they are all (in their minds) banned together to save the world from uneducated, unwashed masses who care nothing for the greater good, and they are the only thing standing between "those people" and the downfall of society as a whole. A zeal and fervor once felt for religion is now felt for a non-religious ideology. Nature abhors a vacuum, and these people are filling their vacuousness with the cult of covid.

Remember, before 2020 lockdowns were completely off the table because they wouldn't work. The established pandemic plan was to reject lockdowns.
