Trying to catch a cat that has gone rouge feral. Leave the front window open with food set inside a trap in the living room. The renter is in the hospital and likely not coming back. One cat already caught by his son who lives 100 miles away. I am only 2 miles away so it is easier for me to bag the beast. Or so I hope. I am praying a raccoon or something else isn't in the trap this morning. I just "cat" get enough of these silly animals. Thanks.
Puppy scared ot steps-sounds made my dogs perk up and try to find it. Dog we had years ago was afraid of the vacuum, as per the cliché, but ignored it until we got another dog. The puppy was terrified of it, so the next day, we find the vacuum murdered when we got home.
The older dog has gotten it out of the broom cupboard (because "vacuum cupboard" sounds like something out of "Airplane") and had proceeded to behead it, bite its tail of and wreck the body:
Hose bitten through in several places, same with the cord, and the plastic casing was all over the place.
For the rest of that dog's life, we used a dry mop instead.
The somersaulting cat looks exactly like my dead neighbor's cat that I feed. She stands on her hinders to beg, but she hasn't executed a somersault yet.
Snoots, the cat that simply moved in, gets into my bed (I was not going to allow that, yeah right). He is so big that when I wake up I find myself pushed over towards the edge, while he occupies the center. He's lying on my desk with his head hovering just over the keyboard. Always the highlight of my Monday! Where the heck were these Pawsitivity posts when I used to hate going back to work on Mondays after the weekend?! Sure could have used them then too.
Lol, I have to move multiples or a whole group of cats every night. It's easy really, I just grab a crinkly bag of chips or Cheetos, and they come running! And while they fight over the tidbits, I go lay down! 😁👍 I also don't need an electric blanket for obvious reasons 😳 They do return, which creates another problem, how to roll over at night, or, reclaim my spot after a potty call. 😖
Friend whose dog I was caretaking for a month came home and the joy the dog showed and nonstop barking were so precious....especially since the dog is 16+ years old and mostly deaf and blind. The pup jumping into the bush was so great and I loved the shepherd attempting to share the bed with kitty.
I'm usually a combination of 1 & 4 but veer to 8-9 periodically when unable to slap politicians in Santa Fe.. Smart, smart doggie in the cat's bed. Love the kitty flip too. Great stuff today, SC! Thanks!
Thanks for the link to the good news network. I signed up for the daily (?) email. I need more 'good news' in my inbox. I watered all 4 raised plant beds. I already have some small red strawberries and tiny shoots of lettuce. Spring is my favorite season.
SC - Thanks for the G pic, feline non compliance is as the Sun rising in the East.
This one with pranking golden retrievers had me laughing for a bit:

Oh, BTW, good to see SC is 3-4 mostly, because, the rest looked like psychotic kitty's. I'm gonna go with 4 mostly. Question everything.

I believe that "Shepherd" is a Husky.
Here's a great video about Shepard's! Enjoy😁 https://x.com/RareImagery/status/1910152513938235437?t=-2A_EgZDf1SOnk2N475h5Q&s=19
LOL!!
I’m a 7 after seeing Gov Gretchen acting like a 11 year old in the Oval Office…..
So embarrassing.
And she wants to run in 2028….
I hope when she's running, it's away from a speeding Indy car hell bent on running her over.
Or head first into a woodchipper.
My day was either a 4 or a 7...

Some of their stories actually upset me quite greatly, but most of the time they are great.
