A time to be thankful
Around here it’s easy to get down because the stuff that I talk about seems so terrible. But this holiday weekend it’s especially important to remember that there’s tons of wonderful things in the world as well! This, of course, includes the amazing subscribers and commentators who make this an awesome place to exchange ideas!
And because it would be rude to interrupt your Thanksgiving without bringing a gift:

My hubby and I talked over dinner and decided that no matter what happens in the future, we will always have our memories of good times like today, to remember. We will remember that we worked our whole lives to pay off and maintain a house now considered to be in a "low income district", and that we were once able to retire comfortably. We are thankful for what we accomplished, and will never let each other forget the journey. America First. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
