After I came forward about Joe Biden in 2020. A firestorm machine came at me. Twitter was sent a sealed subpoena by DOJ via FBI for all my Twitter account information. Please protect future users. Whistleblowers should not be targets of abuse of power,in my opinion

Thank you for this post. While it is important we remain vigilant and aware of what is going on, it is also vital to be grateful for what we have that is good and enjoy the good times with family and friends.

I've found it is easy to fall into a negativity spiral the more I keep up with current events and the more Substacks I read. I'm still trying to find the right balance so I'm not all-consumed with bad news all the time.

For me, times like these highlight all the things I'm thankful for when I just stop and take a breath. Just unplug, disengage, and count your blessings.

This is something I learned after the 2 most important men in my life died 8 months apart in 2018 & 2019 and everything fell apart. Frankly, the plandemic was a useful excuse for going nowhere and doing as little as possible even though I wasn't afraid of it.

Then I began to realize, thank God I'm not afraid and didn't get jabbed!! There are people who have sense! I have sense!!

The list of blessings gets very long if you just look.

Well, since you said Open Thread... found this little piece in my go-to US newspaper, the NYP (because it lacks paywall):

"Assigned operators who would have to undergo training can operate the robots that are unmanned and controlled remotely, according to the draft policy."

Haven't we seen this movie?

I do my best. I also do it for free. 🙂

I just want to share my research and cheer up the troops where I can.

Thanks, I appreciate that.

My hubby and I talked over dinner and decided that no matter what happens in the future, we will always have our memories of good times like today, to remember. We will remember that we worked our whole lives to pay off and maintain a house now considered to be in a "low income district", and that we were once able to retire comfortably. We are thankful for what we accomplished, and will never let each other forget the journey. America First. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Been busy. In a food coma right now. Gonna read your recent posts when I haven't had quite so much wine!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

One might argue the posts REQUIRE a large amount of wine. ;)

Lol. Wine before or after reading posts. Current events can be quite sobering! The C word used tonight as timeline of past 3 years, was that before covid? No, after? No during covid. Ah memories. Happy Thanksgiving!

I had foot surgery nine days ago so I ordered a TDay dinner from a local BBQ chain, and dinner was glorious, if i omit the greenbean casserole (blech). The smoked turkey aroma filled the house and my dog parked himself in the kitchen.

Oops hit enter... so now we're watching Star Trek movies and vowing not to over eat the rest of the pies.

Have a wonderful holiday! 😀 We ordered a Thanksgiving box but it wasn't delivered so we had Thanksgiving tacos. They were turkey tacos at least!

Happy Thanksgiving and God bless you, S.R. Of all things, my wife added pecans, orange rind, and OJ to the cranberries. Mm mmm goood.

I suspect we all feel about the same way, numbed by reality, hated by many, too prone to dwell on the horrors of our life in Terry Gilliam's BRAZIL. I keep going back to that show in my mind. It feels like home.

On the other hand, all of us that are peeking out of caves and seeing the government has done something awful at the same time. Let's not dwell on the present or become too self-engaged.

Smile more.

I'll remember that next year. I keep a bottle of Grand Marnier on hand at all times. It spices up a good fruit salad, too.

Happy belated Thanksgiving, Rosa.

Both hands raised.

Eat yourself sick……

Eat lots of pie……

Don’t let anyone tell you you’ve had enough and feel free to use bad words to tell them so…..

And, it goes without saying,

Keep all your animals close and loved………AND,

Thank you for all that you do each and every day.
