Well, now the ATF has confirmed that none of them were using bodycams, in clear violation of their agency policy. But hey, trust them, the dead guy fired first! Surely we can believe anything a federal agency tells us without any proof required, right?

Ironically, news stories still say that the shooting happened "during execution of a search warrant." At this point I have to believe that the shooting happened "during an execution."

Everybody involved should be fired.

They literally set up the most dangerous confrontation possible, and "oopsie" forgot to turn on the body cams?

Hell no. Fire them all. All the cops, all the officers above them who signed off on any part of this deal -- even the judge.

If we keep letting these people skate, they will never change.

Not nearly enough, but Epoch Times ran a story about it, including how ATF blocked the camera at the house.

If we read enoughTom Clancy we recognise the "aimless driving" as a SDR-Surveillance Detection Run.

He was guilty of two things which are anathema to government- providing citizens with weapons, and working to make a profit.

They should have attacked him like Al Capone, through the TaxCode.

Wow! Lots of questions on this one:

I can't understand how the ATF's Affidavit establishes even the minimum probable cause for issuance of a search warrant. While SCOTUS has long considered 'probable cause' a fluid concept, there has to be solid evidence of a CRIME. The guns in question were openly and legally bought and sold. The fact that one of their undercover agents bought a gun from Malinowski and there were no irregularities mentioned seems to me to be exhonerating, not incriminating. That one of them was subsequently illegally possessed by "Witness 1" does not connect with having committed a crime at all. All the following and tailing ATF agents did produced nothing except "erratic driving" -- every example of which describes behavior of about one third of every driver on the road.

This looks like a fishing expedition, plain and simple, gone bad. Very bad. A decent attorney would have been able to get any evidence the ATF warrant uncovered tossed out, had the suspect survived.

On the pre-printed form Order (presumably reviewed and signed by a Judge in a Court of Jurisdiction)

it actually says 6 am to 10 pm? That gives police and investigators way too much leeway. That ought to be changed immediately. How about 8am to 8pm?

Great article, thanks.

I wasn't aware of this either. I mean, to me this just seems like extrajudicial execution.

I think you nailed it at the end. Things like this should concern everyone.

Even the shit like people getting their dogs shot during raids should concern people.

I'm curious if they even ended up finding anything illegal in his house.

Going to go ahead and assume not, since it probably would have been publicized.

Commander - I had an idea today. I don't know if you deal directly with any of the other substack authors like Matt Osbourne but what you and a few others like him should do is get together and host a Twitter Spaces event where all who subscribe to you guys can participate (mainly as listeners but also given the option to ask Q's). One of the keys to defeating these corrupt globalist and politicians is for us to be as organized as possible and that means communication, lots of it,. The internet has made it possible for people like us to know the media has lied to us in the past when they tried to convince us that we were the few crazies. They FEAR our organizing.

I'll do you one better and guarantee you that some of those are US intelligence agency people just to name one group of Feds most likely lurking here. Substack is as dangerous to them as an open/free (non-censored) internet because it disallows those in power to control how the public thinks and more importantly votes. The last few elections have seen, IMHO, more non-establishment owned reps/senators then we've likely had for 100 years. Before 2010/2012 you had a few like the leg3end himself, Ron Paul, but otherwise they were mostly establishment shills pretending to not be owned by the largest campaign donors. I use to think some in teh Republican party were finally going to do something to fix the damage the left had done, people like Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Fred Thompson, John McCain (was way off on this asshole) and who can forget Newt Gingrich and his "Contract with America" BS.

Of these most ended up being establishment shills. I will say I'm not sure about Fred Thomson and I may be biased just because I love his acting. Then again he may have been genuinely try to do stuff but was fighting the machine lie Regan , like Ron Paul, like MGT, like Rand Paul. What's different today from then is the net and how because of it's open structure those accustom to controlling public perception now must work actively to do it and spend a lot more money. All those corporate news outlets they acquired are now fairly useless.. Like many I thought Fox News was going to help us turn things around and then I found out most of them are also owned. Sean Hannity seems to have a hard-on to please the intelligence agencies. I will say I'm not sure about O'Riley. They let him go too easily IMHO. Even width the accusations I don't see them letting a successful establishment owned shill brining in the views he was, go that easily unless he wasn't a shill. He may have come in when Fox news and not yet been coerced into playing ball and by the time they did these accusations came up and so they used those as the excuse to get rid of him. These companies always have clauses in contracts that let them buy out someone's contract but if they can get rid of someone in a way that either lets them avoid that or at least renegotiate a lower buy out they'll jump on it and if anything their firing of their #1 star by far, Tucker, proves they'll take that loss just to tow the line.

Thank you for bringing this story into the light. You are correct that it is the first time I'm hearing about Bryan Malinowski. I cringe to think how often the judgment and tactics of federal government actors result in what we see as avoidable tragedy like this one, but what the government and media see as someone whose life was disposable because it didn't further the political goals of the moment.

My advice, if you have more than 1 firearm the Feds will add you to a watch list and move you up it the more weapons you buy b/c gun owners are a threat to the Federal government so be sure you have a hell of a difficult door to bust down. I'm not saying it has to be impossible for teh cops to knock down just that it will require a lot more effort then they normally have to use so as to give you time to ready yourself. Place video cameras inside and outside your home and even if you don't normally use then turn them on if you hear someone trying to break in. You also absolutely need to have teh name of a lawyer in advance you trust. You don't need to have them on retainer just one you can call so you're not left w/o legal help

1) Get your gun and find the most secure location

2) Enable any/all monitoring equipment. Call 911 and tell them someone is trying to break in and you are armed to defend yourself

3) If you can (i,e. more than 1 phone such as 1 land line and 1 cell) also call your lawyer

4) continuously yell that you are armed and will defend yourself unless this is law enforcement in which case demand they identify themselves.

5) If possible don't reside in any locale that is a Democrat stronghold or some place that's mixed 9i.e.e purple) . Even in Republican strongholds you'll have gun grabbers just fewer of them.

If the 911 operator tells you that's law enforcement than lay down your gun so it's still close and if possible not in line of sight where the cops would come to you from so you can grab it if it's actual criminals claiming to be cops. Be sure you are always in line sight of one of your recording devices and if possible set to backup/stream that to the cloud so the cops can't destroy your cameras to cover their actions because they absolutely will do that if they fear they screwed up.

The fact is you can no longer trust law enforcement unless you've actually met and know them like in a small town. This is exponentiaonally true with any Federal level Law Enforcement.

This is not legal advice just recommendations.

Expand full comment

You’re missing a rather stupendous point here. If you’ve never broken a law, and just happen to be right like myself, those fuckers with badges breaking down your door, are the criminals. If you know you’re not even close to being any reason for that kind of behavior from the “ authorities “ , I’m pretty sure your right to kill them supersedes their right to break down your door. I truly don’t give a mad fuck what authority you think you have. If you break down the wrong door under the color of law, you deserve the fight of your life. Why is that so fucking hard to understand. You lost me, bub.

I think you replied to the wrong post b/c I made no claims coming even close to saying you shouldn't have the right o defend yourself even to the point of shooting law enforcement should they illegally enter your home. I live in Texas where the Castle Doctrine is respected (unless your unlucky to live in a Democrat stronghold like Houston).

Where I live most are armed and well so which is why our local law enforcement who thankfully are really nice people whop aren't corrupt or at least don't act that way, know better than to try some BS that crooked cops in LA or Chicago might try. Should the Feds try to enter someone's home illegally, w/o a warrant, I pity them.. It's probably why the Feds want these master lists so badly especially of Texans

Yeah I’m pretty sure yours was the post I was referring to. You wrote about all these protections you should do and basically because of unlawful enforcement practices the unlawful, you should live like a prisoner in your home because the bad guys might because isaid something they didn’t like, like they better send their best. I’m in Florida. I don’t expect anyone to break down my door.therefore I will kill any unwanted guests that choose to enter by force. No I’m not going to play all those games you mention, that’s for those breaking down my door. My fundamental right of being safe in my home, under any and all circumstances, precludes the need for cameras, calling 911, laying you gun down on the floor. That’s the last thing that happens. Read all about it tomorrow.

You read that entirely wrong. I made no such claim of being a prisoner in your home. You clearly lack an understanding of the law and your likely to get your self arrested and imprisoned for acting foolishly but ignore reality and try taking down a cop who just enters your property but not your home and see what happens.

Expand full comment

I didn’t say anything about taking down a Leo that enters my property. That’s ridiculous. I specifically said breaking down my door. And I guess I’m old enough that I’ve lived a good life, and the idea that I would bend my head down to appease some dumbass cops willing to break my door down for whatever reason, because their boss told them to, because someone said I did something, or they suspect I might have resistant thoughts? Yeah, it’s gonna have to happen, or we will all to a man eventually be the victims of no knock raids. I guess you’re still willing to be cowed. I’ve reached my last nerve.

Expand full comment

OK. I still don't see how you think I suggested to cower in one's home. AS for shooting a LEO, if they enter your home legally (ie no warrant) and especially if they don't tell you who they are and you live in a state that has teh castle doctrine then it's going to be teh LEO's who aren't happy with how things play out b/c Law Enforcement doesn't have the right to enter your home b./c they feel like it; they have to have either a warrant or specific cause like the belief that someone is in immediate danger and that belief has to be backed up and not just he says vs she says kind of thing. Granted that means nothing if your live in a Democrat shithole like NYC or Chicago b/c Democrats just ignore those pesky Constitutional rights.

How much 'play' did the Harding Street Raid get in Texas?

Expand full comment

The couple on Harding street are actually Lucky. How so? Had they been armed and able to properly defend themselves it's like the Democrat Stronghold in Houston would have charged the couple and put them in prison for life regardless of the fact that they did nothing wrong and were the actual victims. Now they're in haven (presumably based on their history I read) and so they are far better off then how things would be in Demoncrat controlled city.

That said......... Houston may be turning around. The new mayor, still a Democrat shocked the hell out of me by publicly admitting the City is broke and announcing plan's for cuts across the board sans emergency services; the EXACT kind of thing a responsible Mayor should do. There was also talk about raising more taxes from the citizens but I don't pity them b/c the citizens are why its a Democrat shifthile so they get what voted for.

Texas has it's bad locales like any state. Even Florida isn't %100 ideal. As much as I like DeSantis and what he's done I'm not a fan of his over reach in certain areas like that BS with special Hate Crime legislation for Jews. Hate Crimes are BS to begin with. I know Jews were and are being targeted by the followers of the faith that is NOT a religion of peace but it's not the role of government to afford specific groups with special rights or protections. Same applies to the sexes; government should not be affording women special preferential treatment that men don't get and yet it does.

"Knowing the potential for disaster when raiding the home of a gun collector, why are body cameras not standard in these situations?"

Absolutely not. That could risk exposing law enforcement's bad actions. Best to not use them or have them all covienantly run out of power just before the raid.

Hmm. There is a pre-written narrative and there are events, orchestrated or simply convenient, that are slotted into the pre-written narrative to cue the planned next events. Whatever rises to the level of mainstream broadcast needs to be considered as such, especially when the planned next events involve riots, fueling division + outrage, and "political" agendas, etc. So the narratives of "racist cops" and "violent cops" are both built this way.

The facts actually show the opposite is happening as Michael Shellenberger explains here. Police killings are dramatically down from the 70s, of all races. 59 / yr in NYC in the 70s vs 12 / yr in 2015-2020. And, "There are no racial differences in police killings when accounting for whether or not the suspect was armed or a threat." So, of course that doesn't excuse the bad ones, but police as a whole are far better trained now and are not racist. But that doesn't make for a good narrative when what the globalists want is anger and outrage and excuses to justify what they've already planned to do.
