Pat "Cat" Nappi, the former United States Olympic boxing coach was always my favorite. Your post is an artifact of your cat (Deja Vu?) stepping on the keyboard and changing something viz. deleting the original post or ??? https://youtu.be/z_KmNZNT5xw

Im a dog guy and not into cats. Even worse, Im an unpaid subscriber!! So to overcome my guilt for being a free rider, I would like to offer an "In Kind" contribution to the Commander.

I was having lunch last week with a PE Banker I used to work for and we were discussing FTX. He made the point that SBF was helping the Fed fight inflation by vaporizing billions of excess $$ from the money supply. afterwards it struck me that SBF was acting as an unwitting Francisco D'Anconia (From Atlas Shrugged*) acting as conduit to drain those with unearned wealth by playing on their avarice and greed. The recent disclosure that while he was a "Democrat Guy", his 3rd of 4th in command gave 20 million to the R's shows the breadth of the deception and explains the unwillingness for anyone to investigate him while every two-bit reality star has the IRS and FBI breathing down their neck.

Thinking a good Stacker could expand on that theme.

* Disclosure: Not an Objectivist or Rand fan but by any stretch did find some ,not all, of the characters and themes in the book compelling.

The $$$ wasn't vaporized, it was stolen long ago. This isn't a "Joker sets fire to the cash" situation. The money is still out there and SOMEBODY has it -- just not the customers of FTX.

Weird how that always seems to be the case when government throws huge amounts of cash around.........

Love this concept…I have a cat like the first photo. Personality galore.

I have had 13 cats over the years an actually have 6 cats currently. Am I a crazy cat person?

All this mushy talk about cats! My black cat Ernie is pure evil...except when he's not. He tortures small animals and our dog Bert. Bert doesn't like conflict but he can be pushed too far. Ernie trees black bears and has stare downs with big bucks, but he leaves the turkeys alone now...don't know what happened there. then he crawls up in your lap and purrs so loud the whole house can hear him. maybe he's bipolar?

Your cat has personality-plus.

The " Bestest Cat in the Whole Wide World !" was named Caleb ... and he was a Buff, like your 2nd pix, SiCo.

In late Oct.'14, he was sitting on the porch w/me, whilst leashed ( him, not me ! ... they keep me "free-range" ). My neighbor had cut-back her gardens, leaving just a few green stalks. Caleb took two bites.

He began to seem unwell that evening. The 24 hr vet asked if I knew what he chewed. When I said I thought it was Tiger Lillies, she said they will try to save him.

After 72 hrs in the Kitty ICU, he came home w/ an awful prognosis.

His regular vet, after seeing his kidney values, thought he might survive " awhile" but he needed fluids 6 days/wk.

Initially, they charged me $10/day for this, but seeing his dedication, they began to charge me for only the liter of saline every 10 days.

After 16 months of receiving 100 ml sub-cu saline 6 days/wk , Caleb was done & we let him go.

The vets and techs all called him what I started this comment with ... such a champ, through it all.

Please, all, be aware of what your " Fur-mily" is exposed to, more so during the holidays.

Truly, I had no idea how exquisitely toxic all parts of all lillies are to cats. Caleb was only 6-1/2.

So sad. I've had cats come to me at my semi-rural home since 1974. My bestest cat in the whole wide world was Carlos Garcia. He died in Dec. 2019. But before him my bestest cat was Fergie who died in 2003. My firstest bestest cat was Arafat. She lived to be almost 21. I feed a hunky feral male that I have not had neutered. The last feral cat I brought in when she was very ill died in Oct. 2021. I will be 81 in 2 days and have run out of emotional steam to bring another cat into my heart and hearth.

Has anyone started a Substack for slackers? I entertain the idea of writing, but every day? Hats off to all of you who crank this out daily!! It makes me feel guilty for subscribing “free” to any of you! I’ll stick to reading, it’s better for me to learn more than just rant about how pissed off I am about our country.

Thanks! A little rusty, I was an English major... once I told my teenage kids that I’d love to be able to write my college papers with a word processor vs an electric typewriter and white out tape... they groaned.

Did they even understand the words you were saying? 😂

So do we agree with eugypius’s assessment that agenda 21 was only accidentally prescient?

That these pandemicists as they are now being called just war game contagions as a fundraising scheme but don’t have any real plans in place to start the next plandemic?

Asking bc just ran across this

https://www.newswars.com/catastrophic-contagion-bill-gates-johns-hopkins-who-conduct-another-pandemic-simulation-with-deadlier-virus-that-targets-children/

Expand full comment

There is no "virus." That's the biggest scam of all. For like 200 years.

More likely they'll be zapping us with EMF's.

Expand full comment

I was thinking about this earlier today. One thing is for sure -- the 'pandemic plan' only works if you can control people, therefore the basics of the plan will be to put ways to control people in place. After that I don't know if it matters if there's ever a pandemic at all -- fake or not.

In China they turn your app red. That's what they want.

SimCom…….what was the saying about the USA referring to WW11 (at least I think it was)….something about awakening a sleeping giant…..referring to us……I think we as a country are at that point again.

Expand full comment

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isoroku_Yamamoto%27s_sleeping_giant_quote

Isoroku Yamamoto's sleeping giant quotation is a film quote by the Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto regarding the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor by forces of Imperial Japan.

The quotation is portrayed at the very end of the 1970 film Tora! Tora! Tora! as:

I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.

Ironically, I spent a chunk of my childhood in Post WWII Europe, Switzerland and Germany. From that experience, I’ve always been a very independent, responsible and resourceful person. I had no choice. And why I think I bristle any time I sense my right to independence is being challenged. In the 60s , I had no interest in doing drugs. I’ve never been an automatic follower. I saw through Hillary Clinton the first time I saw her speak. How did “we” become so easily impressionable/influenced? Fast forward to COVID...I was stunned by the speed at which people went into full speed panic. And recently I asked these very same people how many people they know who died of COVID... the answer? Two. A 92 year old Holocaust survivor with damaged lungs and a 58 year old obese diabetic alcoholic.

And these people just got their third booster....it’s defies common sense.
