(Note for new subscribers: On Monday, I recap some of the positive stories/funny memes I’ve come across in the last week. Feel free to add your own in the comments!)
Greetings, Screamers! It’s another Monday, and you know what that means — I present the happy little nuggets I found on the internet this week! If you’re having trouble imagining the process, I’ve provided this handy meme to help you out:
You’re welcome.
15 years from the best invention in history to the worst. It’s actually quite impressive!
Of course, this week was the Fourth of July, which is perfectly captured by the Most American Video Ever:
Calls are increasing for Biden to drop out of the presidential race…..but not from who you might think…….
“Confidence in the administration is plummeting! Quick, send out the press secretary to stop the bleeding!”
It would be hilarious if it weren’t so sad.
This adorable little dude is a galago, a nocturnal primate native to Africa:
How awesome! I wonder why the internet will tell me it makes a bad pet:
Galagos communicate by calling to each other and by marking their paths with urine. By following the scent of urine, they can land on exactly the same branch every time.
Today I have a special treat for you. Instead of a feel-good story, I’ve got three wrapped up inside one! First, I introduce Spencer of SB Mowing. Spencer literally drives around and cleans up overgrown yards — for free! Here’s his YouTube bio:
Welcome to "SB Mowing", where the joy of lawn care meets the heart of community service! Every week, I embark on a new adventure, mowing lawns for free in different neighborhoods. My mission? To bring smiles and relief to those who need it most - be it busy families, the elderly, veterans, neighbors, or anyone who could use a helping hand with their yard.
OK, so we’re already at one huge victory for humanity — this guy is going out and spending time cleaning up neighborhoods — not always with universally positive reactions.
But in February, Spencer’s story took an unexpected turn while tackling the yard of abandoned house: he ALSO found an injured and abandoned kitty! Realizing the kitty needed professional help, Spencer (after much frustration) found Edgar and Ivy’s Cat Sanctuary — a place specializing in nursing injured cats back to health. With the sanctuary’s skill and time, Spencer’s find — now named “SB” — made a full recovery. Happy story #2!
That brings us to the final level of this uplifting tale. Spencer was so touched by the efforts of the staff and Edgar and Ivy’s Cat Sanctuary, he started a GoFundMe drive for the non-profit. The drive is closing in on an astounding $200,000 — and just in the nick of time, because it turns out SB wasn’t the only one in poor health……
"I was spending half of my income trying to sustain this," she said. "I kept praying that I'd get some sort of a sign if I should continue, because I told myself if I couldn't make it this year, I was going to end it. I was not going to continue this rescue." — Anissa Beal, Director of Edgar and Ivy’s
Now, because of the compassion of Anissa and the generous subscribers of SB Mowing, Edgar and Ivy’s can continue its mission to rehabilitate sick and injured kitties! Great job, everybody!
I’ve been looking for a specific meme for like 3 years……this gets the point across but isn’t the one I’m still looking for……
If you have a similar meme, contact me immediately!
Reminder: Dogs will play with anyone or anything!
Look, I love my feline editors, but their advice is often……..homicidal.
That’s Bonnie up top and Gangster on the ground! I have yet to give in, but am forced to admit they make great points………
Hope you like what I uncovered this week! What made you guys happy this week? Let us know in the comments below!

Great stuff! Thank you! What made me happy: My brothers brain cancer seems to have vanished! Thank you Lord Jesus 🙏🏻💯♥️
One plausible theory is that Biden has too many hangers on to quit.
He's like a whale with thousands of little fish attached.
