87000 new IRS "agents." We can rest easy knowing they will be busy bringing America back into the black by collecting the impossible amount of 30 trillion dollars from people who can barely afford to fill their gas tanks to travel to their 3 low wage jobs they have to work, to be able to afford food and a place to live. πŸ™„

I doubt all those 87000 will be auditors. I don’t think they can find that many naive college grads who can interpret tax law and do that kind of math. As it is now, you have to call the IRS three times to get a consensus on a question. But I bet they can be trained to use all that ammo.

There's a high probability that at least 75% of the new hires are fuck ups. It's hard enough to find cashiers, imagine finding auditors and accountants.

The agents will be English and drama majors. Given that most audits are in low income communities, I'm sure they will be able to intimidate along with the best auditors.

Especially the drama majors!

Funny how the carried interest loophole always "survives"

Bingo! I have no deductions, but they'll make sure that they take those away. πŸ™„
