Canada Gasses Protestors
Watching Newsly Canada Live’s stream of today’s protest, and it’s clear something has changed. Police are being MUCH more aggressive today, using pepper spray and tear gas to disperse the protestors. This is a real-life example that government ONLY has force at its disposal. All the hours of these protests I have watched, the ONLY violence and confrontations are because of the police. The people are simply standing around talking. Government’s response?
My whole life I heard people saying “It couldn’t happen here” — but it’s happening. And it’s going to get worse.

Since there is a complete media black out about this here in Sweden, people treat it as a conspiracy theory when they hear about it from others (like me).
"It can't be true. It must be fake. Stuff like that doesn't happen in Canada."
As if the world is a static set piece where certain events can only happen in certain places.
The lights are going out all over the western world.
