Watching Newsly Canada Live’s stream of today’s protest, and it’s clear something has changed. Police are being MUCH more aggressive today, using pepper spray and tear gas to disperse the protestors. This is a real-life example that government ONLY has force at its disposal. All the hours of these protests I have watched, the ONLY violence and confrontations are because of the police. The people are simply standing around talking. Government’s response?

This slippery slope really started in the 1970's when the Neoliberals first gained acceptance with politicians and political advisors. Zbigniew Brzezinski, David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, and many other acolytes pushed policies that ushered in this ideology. The recent decades have seen a massive increase in Neoliberal control of almost every aspect of government. The only tool we have left is protest and they know it...
