In our house, when my 2 girls where pre-teens, I would push them around teh house in the laundry bucket like as if they were on a roller coaster and they absolutely loved it! I did to! I also helped them setup challenge course in the down stars area of the house which the wife was never happy about.
It is the father that shows the child had to push past the edge, past that safe zone, to try something of risk!
