Thanks for the positivity!

On your antifa edit,

What if we declared communisn AND socialism as terrorist organizations? We would have so many assets to seize. The Irony is that we would be redistributing the wealth from those who preach wealth redistribution.

Good news: You're finally getting what you wanted!

Bad news: Hand over all your stuff.

Thank you. So many great ones, but the baseball ones of seeing young men doing the right thing (and often that good deed comes back to you as it did to the college age looking man.) Those things show someone's true character (the old - you show who you are when you don't think anyone is looking.)

Antifa IS a domestic terrorist organization.

Should simply pass a law that its illegal to protest while wearing a mask. Get them all on film.

Anyone shows up in a mask, felony.

If you are worried about covid then stay home. Don't care.

I said in the beginning of all the insanity in 2020 that criminals would use the wearing of masks to hide their identity when committing crimes.

One could even suggest that was the whole point.

In Portland, the assholes were actually stopping people and forcing them to present ID to weed out the undercover reporters.

Police did nothing.

Being masked in public is to be a felony.

Would fix a lot of things.

People masking because their religious leader hates women and preaches that the sight of women's skin and hair causes men to go crazy, well you can't cure stupid. they can provide proof or stay home. Those women are not supposed to be seen or heard anyway so their community would likely support that change.

You can go out masked but you cannot participate in demonstrations and riots, go to the store to buy vitamin d to stave off "death by Burka" and then go home.

Positive is that the nomination of dr Martin Kulldorf made waves over here (since he's Swedish), and that state media completely failed in their attempt to smear him in an interview; I think Kulldorf having lived and worked in the USA with its much greater variet of media (yes, really - no offence but media here is called "drainpipe-journalism" and "the opinion-corridor" for a reason) sort-of has immunised him to the fumbling attempts at entrapment.

The downside of being the state-mandated only game in town and in an incestous relationship with corporate capitalist media outlets, no doubt, is lack of skill and ability as people hire others based on whether or not someone is "a good fit".

And media revealing their partisanhip, bias and incompetence is positive.

Our positivity in this horrible week, was to go to the 60th Anniversary screening of The Sound of Music with my mama, sister, and niece. How nice to just have to worry about "a problem like Maria"!

Julie Andrews came to Seattle for a book signing way back when my niece and nephew were just wee little ones. The event stated that Ms. Andrews would sign one book per family. I think the kids were 4 (niece) and 2 (nephew) years old at the time, and Ms. Andrews, seeing my nephew's forlorn little face, beckoned him to come up and receive a book, too! Such a class act! One of my favorite pictures of the kids is with Julie Andrews, with them just beaming up at her!

I’m a sucker for the animals so I can always count on smiles. Really enjoyed the baseball montage.

I believe the speech RFK, Jr made will/should go down in the history books as one of the best speeches made about our country, the constitution, and the spirit of Charlie Kirk. My favorite line was “Our founders put freedom of speech in the first amendment because all the other rights are dependent on it. A government that can silence its opponents has license for any kind of atrocity.” He then goes on to explain the amendments…I was really emotional after he finished.

As a whole, the sane people of this country are demonstrating it’s going to be a while before we stop reeling from Charlie Kirk’s assassination. For many, it’s not that they followed Kirk but the fact his murder represents what the lunatics want to do to us and anyone else who isn’t woke. I’ve known this since the Plandemic but it’s been a huge red pill for millions and this makes me very happy!

Sadly, our US Senate did something that I only learned about this morning while so many of us were in tears reading about Charlie Kirk's death:

The new baseball trend is encouraging. I hope it continues.

I just watched a great cat, well, kitten actually, video of a kitten on a car dashboard with a frustrated hawk perplexed as to why it can't get the kitten. Pretty funny.

Here's some pawsitivity!

This has been keeping me sane: https://postimg.cc/ZCvJSx9S

A friend of mine let me know that her landlord's girlfriend was going down to a local store to try to give away some kittens whose mother was disappeared (probably killed). I could tell they were way too young to give away, like 2 weeks or so, so I took them all home. Right now I have four kittens running around. They were very anxious at first, but they have settled in. It's been nearly 2 weeks, just got them weaned and using the box. In a couple of weeks, I will be rehoming two of them, but I'm thinking we are going to keep the runt and his tuxedo sister because they are super affectionate.

Nothing helps stress more than falling asleep in a pile of kittens....

So tiny!

The first week was crazy because they were still on the bottle, but once they started to get teeth (!) I was able to get them onto moistened kibble and wet food.

They are so cute and loving though.

My two grown cats just come in for food late at night to avoid the youngins.

However, I have to keep an eye on my dog, he is finishing off the kitty kibble when he finds it and is gaining some weight for sure. I'm trying to shame him by calling him Count Porkula, but he doesn't seem to be caring....

I’m hoping the Democratic leadership is doing a lot of “ rueing” … it’s a long list of illogical decisions they’ve made in their need to squash the Orange Man, but on a daily basis, I’m really hoping that they realize that discrediting, demeaning and maligning RFK Jr might be their biggest “ what the fuck were we thinking? “ and parading his protesting DNC employed siblings and cousins was also a boneheaded move.
