That screenshot would be funny if it wasn’t a real news story because the media lied for 2+ years–and counting!–to remove a President from office they hated after Congress failed to do so not once but twice. YOWZERS!

Congratulations.

I created a model very early in the pandemic, prompted by Taiwan closing its border on Jan 1, 2020. I used only data from prior outbreaks of corona viruses originating in China, and wanted to see the shape of the data.

As a side-benefit, it also produced a case fatality rate, a CFR. That was 0.35%. Given that everybody else was panicking, I imagined I had missed something important, so I doubled the result to 0.7%. Turns out the first figure was about right.

It's not April first yet!

Well the UK Challenge study showing people were immune. They didn't become infected after direct exposure to the early version of the virus. They also never developed antibodies which means the virus never replicated. Your referenced study suggests their IGA responses defeated the virus before replication.

The referenced story also must pander suggesting vaccines are good too.

I keep thinking "this is it! we've finally reached the lowest level of stupidity!" Boy, have I been wrong. I think we've just cracked open this can of worms. That should give you plenty of material to post & discuss for the next, say, 10+ years, SC!

I like the totally unrelated paragraph about vaccine efficacy tacked onto the end of the article. Because, otherwise, suggesting that some people don't even get Covid when exposed and most don't get seriously ill or die promotes vaccine hesitancy, right?

Noticed that as well! And I especially like how they think the two vaccines are helping people with this sub variant of omicron, when omicron was barely a cold. I can only imagine how mild this new variant must be.

I can say this. Wife and I discovered that we have very high zinc levels in our hair and then confirmed it is high in our groundwater. We used to get colds 2-3 times per year. Since we started taking quercetin 3 years ago, no virus symptoms of any kind. Ralph Baric wrote a paper about how zinc kills viruses but needs an ionosphore, which quercetin is, among others.

Oh my gosh that is the stupidest headline I’ve ever seen.

What do you even say at this point? I for one would really like to give Kurt Vonnegut his world back.

Oh, or Douglas Adams. Doesn't Mitch McConnell look a little like a Vogon? I know Lindsey Graham has the right nose.

I just posted a cartoon about jabs & natural immunity: https://annecantstandit.substack.com/p/facelift?r=7f8gy&s=w

Ohhhh you got that one so right on several levels. I’m even thinking you took a jab (sincerely pun wasn’t intended at first) at the meme of St. Javelin? Did you? Good cartoon! If you didn’t, cf the Ukraine meme about St Javelin that’s going around. It’s disgusting. (Mary Magdalene as Ukraine’s Saint Javelin holding a Javelin anti tank weapon).

Thank you, Laura! I’d like to say I was “taking a jab” at the Ukraine meme, but unfortunately, it wouldn’t be true! I haven’t seen it yet, but it definitely sounds disgusting!

Offensive and disgusting. I actually recommend viewing it. Very easy to find on line right now. Recommend because it highlights the hypocrisy of the so called peace loving left who suddenly are supporting war, memes of war etc. in an effort to dispel a dictator they are calling Putin from warring on another country which has often also been despotic and corrupt and whose leadership could also easily be considered autocratic.

Biden just spoke in Europe about fighting autocracy in the form of Putin. I found almost every single word he said could be applied to himself.

Just found it! Disgusting indeed. The left is dead to me, ever since they failed to put two and two together when the COVID trojan horse came marching in. Unrecognizable, on the wrong side of history, somehow finding no fault with Big Pharma, okay with segregation of the unjabbed, unwilling to follow the money...

Oh wow. I guess that explains why I have only had one shot in my adult life and have mysteriously overcome every illness I've ever experienced. All this time I thought it was because of the one flu shot I reluctantly took 15 years ago. (Sarcasm)

I wish I could still link to my Twitter posts from July 2020 because then you'd see this:

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41577-020-0389-z

As data start to accumulate on the detection and characterization of SARS-CoV-2 T cell responses in humans, a surprising finding has been reported: lymphocytes from 20–50% of unexposed donors display significant reactivity to SARS-CoV-2 antigen peptide pools1,2,3,4.

In a study by Grifoni et al.1, reactivity was detected in 50% of donor blood samples obtained in the USA between 2015 and 2018, before SARS-CoV-2 appeared in the human population.
