Positive: chickens have hatched. Little floofballs running around going peep-peep.
Also, it's gone from t-shirt weather to no-shirt weather. And anyone grumbling about my whiter shade of pale-coloured hide being aired out while doing yardwork can just put the sunglasses on, Rowdy Roddy Piper-style.
As I come across them during my weekly internet travels, I throw them in a folder. Most of them come from Twitter (but many have been lifted from somewhere else) or YouTube.
SimCom, always look forward to Monday Positivity, and you never disappoint. The otters were my favorite, they’re so slinky! But King was great, too! I’m glad he finally figured out the stairs!
Loved, loved, loved the horse "Houdini"! We had a horse like that. Laddie learned how to open all the gates on the farm. We had to chain/tie/padlock them all shut. I came down to the barn one morning to feed the horses and turn them out. Surprise, surprise, they were all out in the pasture except Laddie's mother. He had let himself and all the other horses out, except his mother! She was furious and when I opened her stall door, she charged out and took off to the far end of the pasture where all the horses were grazing. Let's just say there was a bit of a dust-up!
I really wish I had video of Laddie letting the horses out!
So many good ones that made me laugh, literally out loud, and starting with the first one in today's thread: Sir Jumpsalot (or not at all as the case apparently was)!
Loved the otter playing sax, Bach in the forest, the escapee horses, and the automated pigeon defense system. Think that latter would work to keep my free-ranging chickens away from the porch?
The otters were definitely a hit. But, the guy wanting to eat in secret, that was hilarious. If I grab a bag, box, or anything from cupboard or fridge, it creates a stampede of Cats! The dog & stairs brought back memories, of my dog's first time encountering going down, or up. First time, I had to carry her to the bottom. Afterwards, I couldn't keep her off them. Or out of the basement, regretfully. 😖
