Yay! They always brighten my day. Another reason (besides the laughs) that I enjoy seeing memes chosen by individual Substackers is that they sometimes lend insight into the person that’s not readily apparent, otherwise!

Medicine makes bio-weapons.
Education ensures War never lack for fodder.
And Art became his.... moll for a few table-scraps, making sure the peoples of the nations die for their masters as ordered, when the masters have a little spat or get bored.

Our son and his girlfriend just bought a kitten from Vancouver (via Kijiji!) this weekend and he has moved right in and made himself at home there. Kudos to you for working with Bonnie.

I've had cats since 1974. The house my husband & I bought came with a feral cat and 50# of cat food (we found this out after we arrived). I trapped, tamed, and spayed her first litter after we moved in. The 3 in the litter lived for 20, 19, and 14 years. As the oldest got infirm. a male feral showed up to help her. I tamed and neutered him and on it has gone for all these years. I can't get emotionally close again after my last feral (spayed) came to me to die. It was devastating. Now there's a feral who comes for meals occasionally. He hisses at me as I put dishes of food out for him, but likes me to sit nearby while he eats. I don't want to bond and suffer his loss should he die before I do. But they do give you much pleasure when they finally cuddle up, stop being fearful, and accept you. Sorry for my maundering.
Happy belated pi day, and birthday. I was off celebrating my b-day and am just now catching up.

I admit to being overwhelmed with information lately. Which cat is Bonnie? The little aggressive one? And have a happy, happy birthday.
Yep! She's the little stray who lives out in the Jeep. (Maybe only 75% stray at this point) The bigger one is our actual cat. Bonnie adores him :)
