Never will we know whose Epsteins “friends”, who was involved, where, how and when. They will all be people at the very top and America will just blow up with the extent of who was involved. No president is ever going to give us %100 of what we wanted or even was promised because things do change and sometimes not because of some intentional deceit or lies on the part of the candidate and jumping the gun and making assumption is foolish. I'm using this as an extreme example to make the point. Imagine that the earth has been visited by and maintains a dialogue with alien life and that has been kept from the public for some reason that is valid. Perhaps the aliens said we will keep a dialogue but only if our existence is kept secret. That's the kind of thing a candidate isn't going to be made aware of until they get into that chair and when they do it may force them to change some of what they planned and promised.
For all we know the cover up Trump is propagating may be for Americas own protection. An excellent argument I've heard iOS that it could be to keep us from a global depression. if enough of the worlds wealthy and powerful are on that list of participants and it got out the negative impacts on the markets could be such that it could bring about a return to the great depression. Whether or not you would agree that is a valid reason for continuing the cover up it would certainly be better than because one or more of Trumps buddies is on that list or that he never planned to release it and just lied.
The way forward is to give them the chance to better explain themselves while also not ever letting up on the pressure on the Trump admin to explain themselves. Only those who need to believe the lie are going to so like with JFK this is not simply going to go away with time. We keep the heat on and never let them forget about it until they either come clean or give a better answer than they have.

The confused/shocked looks as well as those of fear from his own team may be due to their now realizing what kind of negative consequence this kind of exposure could causes globally.
Alternatively it could also be that Trump has finally learned just how widespread and pervasive the globalist deep state is and has come to the realization that he isn't in as much control/power as he believed he was and so now he's having to make the truly hard decisions. The global ruling elite class may not have been behinds the attempts to assassinate Trump which is why they failed and b/c the threat of exposing some of their own via this came to light they showed him just how vulnerable he is their power and control and he's backed down.
