Greetings, Screamers! I find myself laid up recently (basically on the DL), so I’ve been watching an abnormally high number of videos instead of reading and writing — so today’s post will be long on video and short on words. (Please keep your ‘hallelujah’ comments to yourself!)
In the least surprising plot twist of the year, Uri Berliner has resigned from National Public Radio after the company suspended him last week for his Substack post detailing NPR’s political bias and the problems it causes:
That new CEO is Katherine Maher, who finds herself mired in controversy after the Berliner scandal inspired internet detectives to go through her Twitter posting history. Brad published a great article with numerous examples — it’s definitely worth reading.
As bad as the Tweets are, the videos are even worse. Much like Nina Jankowicz, these people are too happy to tell you who they are:
Anybody can have any number of truths, because facts merge with feelings and somehow what’s left after that mixture is just as important as the real truth! If you REALLY believe that men can be women by wishing hard enough — that’s your truth! We shouldn’t let little things like REALITY get in the way!
But also, some people have the wrong truths and should be punished for them! (Notice how casually she mentions working with government to go after ‘misinformation’)
And what was “the #1 challenge” in fighting the spread of misinformation? The #1 Amendment!
Did you notice how she twists the First Amendment from “Government can’t stop you from saying this” to “the PLATFORM has the right to collude with government to stop you from saying this.”
This is indicative of Maher’s entire worldview — and the worldview of thousands of other Maher clones running ‘newsrooms’ across America, and the rest of the world. (As I hope to detail further in an upcoming article!)
I don’t think I’ve ever watched an episode of Dr. Phil, but this clip about the covid era is spot on:
Rand Paul has some thoughts about speaker Mike Johnson voting against the FISA warrant requirement:
And some thoughts about Dr. Fauci and gain of function research:
Finally, yesterday at the Supreme Court, the US government defended its broad interpretation and use of 18 U.S. Code § 1512 (Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant) against January 6th protestors. The highlight of the day was certainly Justice Gorsuch asking U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar exactly what might be covered by such a broad interpretation. Perhaps pulling a fire alarm to delay a vote? Take a listen.
I’m hoping to be back on my feet (literally!) sooner rather than later, but if it looks like this will be a problem for more than a couple days, I’ll rearrange my setup so I can ‘work’ while in bed. In the meantime, I’ll keep my eye out for interesting videos!

Good lay-out on Maher. For few of my recent vid-picks, go here https://pomocon.substack.com/p/recent-must-see-vids-on-the-covidvax-d36 As per usual, highly reliant on Vigilant Fox and John Campbell.
Get well soon!
