Sports leagues admit what we've been saying all along
Happy New Year, gang! I have a long article brewing up to kick off the year, but first I want to provide a little update to how sports leagues are handling covid this year.
ESPN Sources: The NBA and NBPA have agreed on new protocols that would allow Covid-positive players to clear isolation after five days if “CT values” are above 30. That lowers threshold from seven days and CT values above 35.
Who has been screaming for the last 18 months that the covid tests are being run with a CT value that’s far too high to be useful? Who’s been BEGGING the world to listen and run the tests at a value where we can actually determine who’s INFECTOUS and not just positive?
Now that the failure of the central planners is so obvious that it can no longer be denied, they are once again “shifting the science” to something more politically beneficial.
But now the science is settled and questioning it is blasphemy. Until the planners need to change it again, of course.

At my kid's school, they are doubling down on the policies that have failed to stop COVID. Testing is increased from once to twice per week. "High quality" masks are now recommended vs. cloth ones. Not sure what I can say to reduce the crazy.
