Hell, yeah! He's gotta have more brains than John Fetterman! We want to know how he got started with the costumes, why he got involved in 1/6, why is he running for office, who is behind his campaign, and WHAT REALLY HAPPENED outside the Capitol and WHO WERE THE CIA/FBI stooges who rallied the troops into the building?

Who's behind his candidacy for this? Or gave him the idea, or was this of his own choice? Libertarians usually don't win statewide or fed office races so this is curious.

I once had a cat who was indifferent to ground beef but would tear your hand off for a chance at green beans or cantaloupe. I had another who learned how to open the pantry door for the sole purpose of stealing Doritos. Say it with me: CATS ARE JUST EFFING WEIRD.

Looking forward to your interview with Chansley.

I would like to know how he was treated in prison. If you could spend some time on his prison experience, that would be interesting to me.

Also, ask him if he has any regrets about J6--would he do it again?

And what are his thoughts on Donald Trump now?

Is an innocent idiot less of an idiot for having been maliciously prosecuted? We don't have enough fools in office? Moron Musical Chairs will bring functionality to Congress?

yes--these are my actual real questions.

What evidence do you have that he's an idiot beyond the (admittedly, fairly solid) evidence that he thought there was any chance Jan 6 wasn't an FBI setup.

I'll admit I don;t know anything about him other than that he wore a buffalo hat and put his feet on Pelosi's desk.

To prepare Amerikan society for the inevitable return of the military draft (after Ukraine is defeated and Taiwan is attacked), maybe a lottery could be set up and all registered voters would be eligible to be President of the USA for a day according to a lottery. We could have a new figurehead every day and, in time, everyone in America could claim that an ancestor was once POTUS!

Was he a Libertarian in winter 2021? Or was he a Republican, or unregistered? If he has switched from Republican, or unregistered, to Libertarian, why?

Expand full comment
Warmek's avatar

Registration is nigh irrelevant, in some states. In NM, you can only vote in the primary of the party you are registered for. So despite being a hardcore libertarian (some would say anarchist) of three decades, I've been any number of parties, strategically.

The Radical Individualist's avatar

In Ohio, where I vote, you tell them which ballot you want, Republican or Democrat, when you go to vote in the primaries. There is nothing remotely legitimate about forcing people to pledge allegiance to a political party in order to be able to vote.

I believe that, in some states, a person can vote on BOTH primaries. That's the way it should be. We should all be able to vote in ALL elections funded by our tax dollars and taking place in our precinct. If we're going to break the stranglehold the Uniparty has on us, it has to come from us, directed at them, and not the other way around. It's time to stop playing defense. A they say, the best defense is a good offense. Hillary Clinton knows that. Nancy Pelosi knows that. Joe Biden knows that. WE should know that.

Sigh.

Sorry. He lost me at โ€œrunning as a libertarian โ€œ.

I donโ€™t pay attention to them anymore after realizing the vote splitting that happens when they run. 2024 is the year of splitting votes. It also allows democrats to adjudicate other votes to their democrat nominee.

Democrats donโ€™t need to manufacture votes anymore. With other nominees running they can just steal the votes. Lol.

We need to know how he is making a living. Ask him who is financing his lifestyle as his choices in life are suspicious. Who is giving him dark money? Lol.

So I found this description of Libertarian beliefs,

Its cultural policy positions include ending the prohibition of illegal drugs, advocating criminal justice reform, supporting same-sex marriage, ending capital punishment, and supporting gun ownership rights.

I'd also ask Mr. Chansley how he views these 5 issues and what are his thoughts on our military use abroad to protect allies and commerce trade routes ? Along with would he agree/push for "mandatory use the tax dollars" generated from legalised drugs, drug paraphernalia & alcohol sales to combat the burgeoning addiction and homeless epedimic across America ?

Does he vow to uphold the Constitution as written or is it a living document open to amending it ?

I could go on but this may be a start.

I can't speak for the candidate in question but in general a libertarian candidate would be against such a tax, let alone spending it on a welfare program, would want the military restricted to protecting the borders and defending against invasion, the navy in particular to protecting american vessels at sea, and a withdrawal from all foreign entanglements and alliances.

So if that ain't what you're looking for, you're not looking for a libertarian.
