RFK Jr. Gets A Mile High
The candidate speaks in Denver
Greetings, Screamers! Apologies for the mini-absence, but it turns out that I’ve officially reached the age at which my back simply decides to stop working while I’m taking a shower. 😫 And as some of you have no doubt experienced, when your back goes sideways, so does everything else. But to my great joy, today I was able to stretch it out and start breathing normally, which will cascade into FEELING normal soon!
I have a couple articles I want to write, but today I’m watching and reporting on RFK Jr’s rally in Denver. This week candidates Trump and Biden agreed to debate on CNN — seemingly boxing Kennedy out of the process. I’m interested to see how Kennedy responds to this — and if he understands that the entire reason the candidates ran to CNN was TO box him out.
Before RFK Jr. hit the stage, Theo Wilson came out and described out the Democratic party now serves their donor base instead of the working people. The speaker noted that he was labeled as an ‘anti-vaxxer’ because had the same suspicion of Big Pharma as he did of police. And that his family suffered immensely during the lockdowns. That’s when he found RFK Jr, and the two teamed up to fight against covid vaccine mandates. Wilson noted that voting for either of the two major parties is a vote for the endless war machine, and that only a vote for RFK Jr. is a vote for bucking the system.
Kennedy campaign staffer Isaac James took the stage next and announced the campaign is 35% of the way to getting on the ballot in Colorado. After claiming Kennedy is the “21st Century President”, James exited the stage.
Dr. Simone Ahuja then took the stage and spoke about being part of a “revolution” and discussed the power of natural medicine. Although she went through the standard medical school education, she wants healthcare to be less about Big Pharma and more about patient care.
Next up was Former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, who took the Moderna vaccine and suffered an adverse reaction. She kept her remarks brief and made way for staffer Rob Lucero, who recounted some of the campaign’s recent victories to get on ballots across the country — and the fact that RFK. Jr. is making major headway among minority voters and former democrats.
Communications director Del Bigtree was next up (and the last one before RFK), who recounted a skiing trip with Kennedy — then contrasted Kennedy’s fitness with other candidates “who can barely walk”. Bigtree then praised Kennedy’s past as an environmental lawyer. Bigtree then mentioned how Robert Redfield admitted nobody under the age of 50 needed to get the vaccine, as well as the conversation Deborah Birx had with Chris Cuomo about side effects. He notes those ‘experts’ people are admitting they knew about the side effects all along, yet they stood by as the president mandated it! Bigtree stated RFK Jr. would stand for medical freedom to take or not take whatever medication you like. (Oh wow — this guy is really going off about the covid response! Highly recommend watching this part of the video!)
Edit: Here’s Bigtree’s epic rant (sorry about the brief screen freeze, but it wasn’t my fault!)
After a brief video recounting his “Declare your Independence” speech, finally Kennedy hit the stage to thank the people who made the rally possible. Kennedy believes that the campaign will qualify for the state ballot in the next couple weeks (right now the campaign is already on the ballot in 8 states). Ironically, the Kennedy campaign is holding off on submitting signatures in several other states to limit the amount of time that the other parties can legally contest them.
Kennedy then brought up the debate — noting that independents outnumber either party, and there should be an independent candidate in the debate. He then brought up CNN assuring the other campaigns that RFK Jr. wouldn’t be on the stage. He notes that he’s technically the only candidate that is on ANY ballots, because the other candidates aren’t nominated yet. He then joked that he had a meeting with CNN about this today, but the news agency canceled because they couldn’t find the guy who was supposed to lead the meeting. Kennedy said he’s confident that CNN would follow their own rules and let him into the debates. (I am not as confident)
Kennedy then made a not-so-subtle dig at Trump being scared to debate him. (A great tactic if he wants Trump to get behind him getting in, honestly.) RFK Jr. states the American people want leaders who can talk like adults about policy. (Once again, I am not as confident)
Kennedy turned to polling showing that he could beat Trump head to head AND Biden head to head. (Neat, but irrelevant, IMO) This allows Kennedy to say that BIDEN is the actual spoiler in the race, because he can never win. (Biden loses no matter the election format in this particular poll) Since the only two candidates who can win are Trump and Kennedy, RFK says, those are the two real candidates!
Kennedy then brought up his ‘no spoiler’ pledge, which challenged President Biden to run the same type of polling in October — loser drops out. RFK noted that most people aren’t happy about a Trump vs. Biden rematch, and his campaign is an alternative to the fear campaigns of the major parties. (Biden fearmongering about Trump winning, and vice versa.)
Kennedy noted the importance of not voting out of fear, because it enables governments to do things that they couldn’t normally do. He laments the fact that neither candidate can talk about the biggest issues — including the national debt — because they don’t have answers to those issues. He noted the debt has gone up a trillion dollars in the last 100 days, and this is why we see crazy inflation. (Fact check: true.)
Kennedy shifted then to free speech, shaming the government and social media censoring debate around covid. He noted the lockdowns violated multiple Amendments and both other candidates were complicit in these things. Worse — there’s still been no apology for any of that.
The chronic disease epidemic was up next, as RFK Jr. once again noted that both other candidates were beholden to Big Pharma. Kennedy noted that even the CDC knew that sick Americans were the ones dying for covid, so why won’t Trump or Biden talk about THAT?
This rhetoric is repeated with AI — do you trust Trump or Biden to be able to handle this, or will they just roll over for the intelligence agencies? Kennedy wants a president who will actually handle the problem. (By talking to other leaders about it, I guess?)
Kennedy then talked about Biden’s pro-war agenda, and ribbed Trump for hiring John Bolton. (“Hiring the swamp to drain the swamp”) He stated that money sent into the black hole of Ukraine could be used to improve the lives of Americans, and we have to rebuild local small businesses. Why not spend $65 billion giving everybody child care, or improving education? This doesn’t mean isolationism, Kennedy explained, but the way forward is to project economic power, not military power. He noted this is what China is doing.
To wrap up the speech, Kennedy notes that both the Trump and the Biden campaigns are divisive — which is amplified by social media. Kennedy believes we need to do something about this, which is why he decided to run. He stated there’s more that unites Americans than divides them — such as the desire for healthy food. While the Trump and Biden campaigns feed on anger, Kennedy said, but his campaign focuses on the positive.
Kennedy then promised to unravel the corrupt merger of state and corporate power — declaring that he can take the country back.
Edit: Full video now embedded. Theo Wilson’s introduction starts at 54:16 (for some reason it won’t let me start the video there):
Every little bit helps when fighting the ‘experts’! Buy me a coffee on Ko-fi!

"Why not spend $65 billion giving everybody childcare, or improving education?"
Why not not spend the $65 billion. Neither childcare nor education is an enumerated power listed in Article I Section 8 of The Constitution of The United States of America of the federal government, and it certainly isn't my responsibility to ensure childcare or education for parents who made the decision to procreate.
Well, well SC, you just opened up a whole new can of worms...
I subscribe to RFKjr's substack and blog. He lost any of my support with Shanahan.
I do think he will draw more from the Biden camp. If possible, I'd still give him a nod in primaries. Just to take away from pedo Joey
In the end though, he's still a liberal (how far?). With a pretty obvious leftist as running mate.
