More Establishment Hypocrisy

My shocked face is shocked 😐

Greetings Screamers! I’m still working on my next longform article, but I did want to take a few minutes to talk about yet another example of establishment hypocrisy. Of course I’m talking about Hunter Biden and the lightest slap he “got” for his tax evasion and lying on a firearm form (a felony for mere mortals).

Of course, we knew that Hunter was going to get a token sentence (if he got one at all) because of who he is. Lawyers for the swamp get off even when evidence of their crimes is obvious, the “correct” political protestors can do whatever they want, and the FBI continues to set up the mentally disabled. The establishment allows and even encourages this behavior.

But the rest of us are subjected to constant reminders that “nobody is above the law” when it comes to Donald Trump’s arrest. Joe Biden says that if Congress won’t act on gun laws, we need “a new Congress”. (Which is strange, because Biden also says that “You need an F-16” to take on government, not just an AR15.) I guess he’s not talking about enforcing gun laws that are already on the books — at least when it comes to prosecuting the “right” people.

These events are yet another reminder the Swamp will do or say ANYTHING if it will increase its power the slightest amount. When it wants you to get behind yet another war, it calls you unpatriotic for not going along. (Now updated to include “Putin stooge.”) If you point out that all the places dealing with “systemic racism” have been run by Democrats for decades, they claim you don’t care about the poor. If you want to ensure the ballot at the bottom of the drop box is legal, you’re an anti-American bigot trying to deny people the right to vote. If you mention that hospitals were never overrun during covid and perhaps there was a DIFFERENT motivation to the lockdowns, you’re an anti-science grandma killer.

Of course, the Swamp doesn’t actually CARE about any of these things OTHER than how it can use the issues to increase its power. If covid was REALLY about saving lives, the government would have jumped into the “sudden” spike of death occurring all around the world starting in 2021. If government was worried about gun crime, it would be tackling it in places like Chicago.

If government wanted to help the poor, it wouldn’t be out there bragging about how inflation is “only” 4% while continuing to “find” money for Ukraine.

You have to be some kind of stupid to post this as a brag

Sadly, we’ve reached the “You’re going to eat shit and like it” phase where the Swamp has gotten so powerful, it thinks that it can do anything it wants so it doesn’t even need to pretend any longer. Indeed, it’s perhaps MORE exhilarating to rub the peasants’ noses in the manure in front of the whole town instead of in a back room somewhere.

As the man in my avatar famously said:

PS: There is good news. As Michael Shellenberger points out, we are finding one another and fighting back. He’s appearing at an event tomorrow with Russell Brand and Matt Taibbi in London to discuss censorship issues. I don’t know of any live stream carrying the event, but I’ll hopefully be able to post a link after it’s over.
