Yep. I'm gonna put a blurb in at the end of the article I'm in the middle of. It's just blatant political prosecution these days.

Ok, I quickly scanned that April substack. If I gleaned that correctly, we need to fire the entire FBI and other agencies and start with a clean slate. At least the FBI. WHERE DO YOU BEGIN? Did I read that right?

Why is it that all of the worst elderly politicians like her, Diane Feinstein, Maxine Waters, Anthony Fauci and so many others not only never retire but seem to live forever? We could be stuck with them all for another decade.

Not putting in hard term limits was one of the few glaring mistakes made by the Founding Fathers. So-called "professional" politicians will be the death of us all, if we allow it.

It’s the well used truck by a failing regime using external threat to distract its citizens away from the disaster it is, and rally them to their Government in defence of their Country.

Anniversary of the retreat from Afghanistan débâclé, rampant inflation, a non-recession recession, losing the war with Russia, increasing evidence leaking into the MSM of failure of the ‘vaccines’ and deaths and injury therefrom - Team Biden needs a distraction.

Send Pelosi to Taiwan that’ll do it, and if the Chinese carry out their threat and shoot down the plane even better, and Nancy is way past her Best-before date, so no loss there.

We're not laughing at you for what the Democrats have managed to achieve in less than two years, we're crying with you. While it is an achievement to completely wipe out whatever gains had been made since 1991, it's the kind of achievement no-one should want, much less get. Still, they are as fas as I understand the party of partycipation trophies and "Achievement unlocked: turned on the X-box" level of competence, so this is hardly surprising.

For a perfect trifecta, she should now go on to Mekka and Medina, demanding to visit the Kaba (and the hotels and casinos right next to it - they restrict photography there because they don't like to own up their "holy sites" looking like Vegas, hookers and blow included...) and then straight on to Jerusalem just as a bonus round. Maybe with Cyprus and Northern Ireland for extra credit.

She should definitely fire her speech writers. But she won't, because her abuse of Mr Franklin is consistent with dem philosophy -- neither liberty nor security are important to dems, since they both interfere with dem strategies. Rewriting history is also a centerpiece tactic for socialists everywhere. If we're allowed to misquote Franklin, I suggest what he meant to say was, we're unlikely to have liberty or security if we allow socialists to exist anywhere. Unfortunately, we've allowed them to become so entrenched that it will take aggressive actions to remove them. The next opportunity to begin removing them comes in November.

"...we're unlikely to have liberty or security if we allow socialists to exist anywhere."

That is *exactly* what Mr. Franklin meant, imo. And it is *exactly* why Socialists like Ms. Pelosi must twist his words beyond comprehension, in essence "capturing" the founders like they capture the free private sector.

We're fortunate that most of them aren't very smart. However, they often compensate for their stupidity with fervor.

Like burning down one's house to rid it of an infestation of pests, at this point I'd consider a few tactical nukes to be a blessing if it exterminates the vermin that have infested our illegitimate grifting emperor class.

Barring that, I'm all in for not paying a single dime more in taxes until this shitshow is reset back to reality.

The risk of China invading Taiwan is becoming very real. Biden is a joke internationally - witness Afghanistan. The Ukraine war is weakening American resolve in another foreign war. The Chinese are not stupid and may just take up the opportunity. I hope Taiwan is up to the task to defend itself if the Chinese invades because no one will come to its defense.

I’m still confused why Pelosi even went, this isn’t her job description. Damn it, Jim, she’s a representative, not a diplomat!

Maybe “actor” is a better classification.

The Speaker's son has dealz and the House of Representatives holds the purse strings. But I know you meant what proper purpose - with the House having no Constitutional role and the Senate providing advice and consent as to treaties. Unfortunately I think past Speakers from both parties have done the same thing albeit perhaps less brazen without offspring in tow.

Yes, and the speaker *is* third in line, which reminds me to consider whether it is time to panic yet.
